NOTE: THIS IS REFERRING AN ANTIGEN RAPID TEST PROCESS I WENT THROUGH. Website was an easy process to get an appointment and fill out registration. My appointment was at 2:33. Directions said to go 10 minutes early. I arrive 10 minutes early and went inside to the lobby. Clean and modern. Looks new. I waited in line for about 10 minutes just for the front person to tell me to wait in the car. I wasn't parked directly in front so I informed her where I parked. Then waited in the car for another 25 minutes. I finally got a call asking for my symptoms. Then 2 minutes later another call saying they don't know where I parked. The assistant finally came to the car had me fill out a form. Then 5 minutes after that the person taking the test came out to the car, put the swab in my nose told me to move my car to front of shop. She wasn't particularly friendly, just all business I guess. Informed me it would take about 20-25 minutes for the result. I moved my car to front of clinic and proceeded to wait about 12 minutes and got a result brought to my car. Overall it was easy. I think if they informed people to wait on the car and stuck to the times of the appointment it would be better. read more

I went to this urgent care because I was extremely dehydrated and wanted a saline IV. I was seen by a nurse and not a doctor. She told me my blood pressure was too low to get an IV and that I should go to emergency to be checked out. What?! My blood pressure was low due to dehydration! I took my blood pressure when I got home. It was 105 / 62. I talked to a few nurses about it and they said Xpress absolutely should have given me an IV. Thankfully, my dehydration and low blood pressure eventually resolved on its own. Everyone at the office was very impersonal. In addition, I just received an email from Xpress asking me if I would recommend them to a friend. My answer is no, but the ONLY option in the email was a thumbs up. read more

Got a Covid test for travel, and let me tell you. USE ANYONE ELSE. I had to call the clinic and the urgent care, got multiple answers from multiple people on how I was supposed to get my results. My wife's results came in next day via email, normal, good. Mine on the other hand, couldn't be emailed because they never email results to patients. Except the fact they just email my wife's. So we got passed around like a joint from Lab to office to Lab. Different answers from each different person we talk to. Bad service, not at all concerned with your plans. Like I said use someone else. If you like the cliche runaround this is your place! read more

The doctor was good BUT they overbilled me 100+ dollars when my co-pay was only 15 dollars. It's been 3 months now. I went at the beginning of January. I called in February and they said they see the credit and I'd have to wait a month since they only issued refunds once a month because the Director is out and they'd call me. Its now April and I'm on the phone with them. I am definitely NOT coming back. Be careful if you have insurance because they will probably bill you incorrectly and keep your money for months. read more

Family members and I have been to Express Urgent Care several times over the past few years and clinical treatment is great. The in clinic experience with the Nurse Practitioner was outstanding every time. Shout out to Kiley Blakely NP who treated me for COVID in June of 2024 at the Stanton location. Unfortunately, I must warn you about the incompetency with regard to insurance billing. I won't go back to Express Care due to the following: On June 3, 2024, Express Urgent Care told me I had to pay for a medical procedure even though I have health insurance. Express Care stated that my insurance did not cover the procedure (note I have Blue Cross PPO). I needed the procedure because I was ill so I did in fact pay out of pocket. Several weeks later I received an Explanation of Benefits from Blue Cross documenting the fact that Express Care had been paid on June 21, 2024 the full amount for this same medical procedure. So Express Care double dipped - they charged me and they charged my insurance provider for the same medical procedure and were paid the full amount twice. On June 23, 2024 I wrote a letter and sent an email to the Express Care accounting office informing them of the duplicate payment and requested a refund. Of course, I heard nothing back. On July 12, 2024, I called to follow up. Since then I've had six phone conversations with various Express Care team members and have been jerked around repeatedly. During these phone calls I've been told such things as "we are reviewing your refund request" "the refund is in process" "the check has been cut but is waiting to be signed" "the check will signed on Friday" "the check will signed next Friday." Today, July 31, 2024, at 11:10 AM, I was called by a woman from Express Urgent Care who told me "the check is ready and we are mailing it out today" and I verified that they had the correct mailing address during the call. I thought to myself 'finally, I'm going to get my refund.' But no, the same person called me back at 3:11 PM later the same day, July 31, 2024, to inform me "I'm sorry but we have changed our policy and we no longer mail out refund checks, you will have to go to our office in person to pick up your check." Can you believe this? Why in the world would they not put the check in the mail? What's the big deal why can't they use the US Mail? That would be so much more convenient for me. Now I have to waste my time and use my gas to drive to the Express Care office. OK so I asked the woman "when will the check be available to pick up at the Express Care office?" and she told me "I'm not sure; our manager may or may not be there later this afternoon." You couldn't make this story up, it's unreal the runaround I'm getting for this refund which is based on Express Care's overcharging me due to their error. As of 4:00 PM today, July 31, 2024, I still have not received a refund. I expect that when I do go to the Express Care office to pick up my refund check in person (because they won't mail it to me due to their 'policy') that no one in the office will know anything about the check and this saga will continue. We made an appointment on their website and picked at same day 2:15PM. I already completed appointment info as they requested, and then 1 person contacted me asking the reason why for this visit! I explained to him/her and also sent picture to confirm he's negative with Covid! After that, they said only take my child after 5pm due to our insurance! So disappointed and ridiculous! This review is just for COVID testing. Got tests done here several times and it's always been fast and efficient. This most recent time I needed a rush PCR test for international travel. I went in during the week at around 5:30pm and got my results via email the next day around 3pm - so fast! They take insurance and have an easy online check in process prior to the appt you can easily complete on your phone. They seem to have a ton of appts available these days even as late as 7pm & same day appts as well (writing this in mid Aug 2021) . I believe they only release appts slots up to 24 hours ahead of when you check so you won't be able to schedule more than 24 hours in advance. Go here if you need results fast! They also offer rapid antigen tests but those are not as accurate & you might have to pay out of pocket. read more

Called and no one answers here. Website didn't offer appt for regular walk-in. The phone prompt says to just come in. I walk in and I ask to be seen. Why they ask? Dizziness and nausea. No fever. No coughing. Nothing respiratory. No, they say. You need an appt. I told them, no appts for my needs. They tell me to go to another location. Either pick up your phone, fix your messaging prompt, or help the people. I know Covid has made everything bad, but you guys have definitely made the situation worse. I have Kaiser and I got a test here and I confirmed with them I was covered before I left. They sent me a bill for $282 and I have Northern California Kaiser and they were too stupid to figure it out. So I told the lady on the phone for billing and told her I wasn't gonna pay and she was such a b**** and was like "okay we'll we will send you to collections then." I came in for a physical and a tb test right after work around 5pm just because it's so close to home. The front desk was very nice and sweet, she explained the pricing to me since I didn't have insurance and was helpful. The only thing was that I did have to wait almost 45 min to be seen. But once I was in a room, the doctor came right in and she was very sweet and kind. She addressed my issues and concerns and was able to carry the conversation (unlike the old doctors who say nothing) then I was on my way since I had already paid. If you aren't in a rush then I say definitely come! But if you are, then I recommend making an appt or going somewhere else. Overall my experience was great here! read more

Nothing about this place is urgent. I took an covid exam waited 5 days for a result, called back they told me it was negative then proceeded with "we are very busy at the moment and we will do it when later". Called two days later with no confirmation email as promised only to get the response, you're supposed to specify how you want the results. Isn't the reason I supplied my email during registration for that reason ? Regardless of what was said and procedures I will be going somewhere else. read more

I recently went to Xpress for a COVID-19 nasal test. From the moment I walked in everything was handled professionally. The receptionist had my information ready and checked me in very efficiently. I was then sent to the next person who also had my information in front of her. I was told to go my car and wait for someone to come out. It was maybe 10 minutes later that the technician came to my car window and swabbed my nostrils. It took less than 2 minutes at most. I arrived at 9:15 am and was on my way by 9:30. I'm very happy to report that I received my negative results in 3 days!! I had a previous Covid test and the results took 19 days!!! TERRBILE EXPERIENCE. We had probably the worst experience at healthcare facility with this Urgent Care office. My mother fractured 1 of her fingers from a door slamming into it. We came to the office by their recommendation so they could take some xrays. The PA confirmed the fracture and suggested we see an ortho within a week, and we should pick up her xrays in a few days. We scheduled an ortho visit a week after, and we came back to the urgent care office to get the xrays. After waiting for almost 25 minutes, the receptionist, who had a scowl on her face the entire time, gave us a piece of paper that says the radiologist confirms the fracture. We needed the actual XRAY SCANS for the ortho to look at, NOT a radiology report. We asked the receptionist for the scans and waited another 15 minutes, only for someone to tell us that they do not have the physical scans, and the "xray guy" just left the building. We had the ortho appointment in 30 minutes, and at this point I was furious. After an intense argument with a PA or nurse (i'm not sure), they finally gave me a LINK to the digital xray scans. Why did they not give us this in the first place?? Why did I need to argue loudly with a nurse to get our xray scans (that we paid out of pocket for as well)?? Fast forward a month (July 22) , my mother decided to go to another ortho office, and we tried accessing the LINK given by Xpress urgent care, but it has EXPIRED 4 days after it was given to me. Once again, we went to the office to get the link and waited for 30 minutes, only to hear that no one there could provide the link again and the "xray guy" is out of the building... AGAIN. They said they would try to contact the main office in Tustin to figure this out. 15 minutes later, we would told there was NOTHING they could do. NOTHING. They told us to go on to our ortho appointment and they'll send the link when they figure it out. We honestly lost all hope at this point and left with no xray scans for our ortho. He was not happy because he needed the records to see how my mother's finger has healed. We finally received that link 3 hours later. At which point, we already finished the visit with our ortho. I normally never write reviews, let alone bad reviews. But our experience with this office was so incredibly stressful, dissapointing and frustrating that I had to. read more

I did a walk in on Saturday, July 10th early in the morning. It was my first time so of course I had to fill in paper work, insurance etc. Everything was done on my cell phone which was easy and quick. Once I complete the information needed the front desk put me in a room so the dr can see me. It was fast and dr was very knowledgeable. Came in for two appointments one for the rapid test (my workplace wanted the PCR test) so I came back the second time for the nasal swab test. Both times, the staff was extremely nice and quick. I went to Xpress Urgent Care on Beach in Stanton on August 4th for a rapid covid test. Front desk was not friendly or helpful; actually rather rude. They treated me quite poorly. Also, they would not charge my primary insurance and would not try to bill secondary. I had an appointment but they made me wait about 45 minutes. I had to pay with a credit card since they would not honor my insurance. My primary, Kaiser, did reimburse me. I would not recommend them. There's no reason to treat people so poorly. read more

I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm to do a COVID testing with my family. I asked the lady in front desk if they do walk-in COVID testing because there were no people around besides me and my family. She said no and told me to make an appointment for each of us . I start doing that on my phone like she said. I guess on one of the appointments I set up incorrectly and she began yelling at me and being very condescending in front of my child and my brother. I still apologize for scheduling the wrong one for my relative . And She was still being so Rude to me and yelling at me when she would talk to me. I had an appointment and still had to wait an hour to be seen in over an hour and a half for the results which they said will be ready in 20 minutes. It took me half a day to get a rapid test completed. I have also been looking online and comparing prices and this company charges almost double what the market rate is. I would not recommend them and would avoid going to them like you are avoiding COVID-19. read more

this place is horrible. bad service and the wait is so long. there weren't any patients before or after me. i was the only one there and they took forever for me to be seen. i went to get a TB done there, and it doesn't take that long to get it done. and then i came back to get a reading two days after, still take forever. again it wasn't busy at all and there's no other patients. it doesn't take that long to read my tb reading as well, all you gotta do is assess my arm and boom note it then done. somehow they were very slow. first time here and i just need a clinic to get my tb done quick that's why i came here. i went to other clinic before, they were fast and on it. i didn't have to wait. but this one... you gotta wait even when it's the easiest task thing to do. i would not come back here again or recommend anyone to come here. read more

We went in there because my son was really sick w a cold and possible strep. We were greeted by two wonderful ladies who immediately helped me. They were both very nice and helpful. Our wait was about 15 mins before we were put in a room. Doctor came in 5 min later. The doctor was very nice, he communicated well w my teenage boy. He explained what he could possibly have and prescribed him some meds that will help w all his symptoms. Overall it was a great experience-the staff was great and the doctor was quick, knowledgeable, and explained everything easily for my boy to understand. Will totally recommend. read more

This was the worst experience i've ever had in my whole life! when i made the appointment online it asked to finish registration for new patients and asked if i would like to pay for my visit online to make the process faster, so i payed it and when i checked in the man at the reception wouldn't take the online payment and demanded another form of payment before my daughter can have her sports physical. I practically paid twice. then he said i had to call my bank and cancel the payment myself and when i called my bank they said the medical office has to cancel the payment on their side. so the receptionist was uneducated about their protocols and very rude and unhelpful. i was recommended here and drove all the way from riverside. and worst of all they offered a sports physical coupon on their wed site, which i didn't notice was expired and they would not honor it for me even though it's posted on their site. very unprofessional and i don't recommend this place. if i can give zero stars i would, the male receptionist is very unprofessional and has absolutely no customer service. read more
