The shop is tiny, the staff are generally fairly short term (they must turn them over at a hell of a rate as they never have any real depth of product knowledge) but the products, ooh the products. The raison d'etre of this shop is not to be cheap - it's not that cheap! No. I think the reason this is here is that its's cheaper than billboard advertising. Plus where can you shout more effectively to the yummy mummies in their SUVs as alongside the car park at Bicester Village?! I'm being a little tongue in cheek; we have bought here a few times and enjoyed the experience. I would definitely buy from them again if they had what I was looking for. I love TAG watches - sturdy and reliable, and they don't scratch when you whack them off stuff while fixing the car!

Watford Gap is a motorway service along the M1 by J16 and 17, operated by Roadchef…read more It is separated into Northbound and Southbound depending on the direction of travel. I visited their Southbound services. On both sides, there is the traditional Roadchef offering of McDonald's, WHSmith and Costa. The Southbound location has the additional offering of Leon. It is quite small for a motorway service station in general, and the seating area is limited, but given the fact it's only 10 miles in each direction to the next motorway services, Rugby and Northampton, it's forgivable. Certainly not the largest or most attractive motorway service location, but certainly does the job, the 24-7 McDonald's is useful as it provides hot food that can cater to dietary requirements including my gluten-free requirements at all hours of the day (or night). I wouldn't stop here though unless directly targeting either McDonald's or LEON as there is much better along the M1. 3*

Also, work load and timings are generally given straight away so you will know virtually straight away when your service will be done. All depends on what person you speak to really. Overall if you get the right persons, Banbury Litho is very good value for money and have a very good knowledge of the print world.

The shop itself has always provided me with good service, advice and quality products. One man band is, I think, the only music shop in Banbury, so therefore gets a lot of trade. The shop has a great selection of instruments, especcially electronics and guitars at good value. The only negative point I can think of is that there used to be a bigger sheet music collection, which they changed to mail order only, shame, as it was a useful local resource. They now use the space for giving music lessons, which I hear are expensive. Nevertheless, One man band is a valuable edition to the Banbury shoppers catalogue with expert advice and a wide ranging stock.

Their labels are good quality and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours, starting at less than £5 for 500 according to their website (although unless my memory is playing tricks on me, last time we ordered we paid around that much for a bag of 1000 labels hmmm). However we particularly appreciate their iron-on name tags, which are invaluable for reuniting our 5-year-old with the various items of clothing he seems to leave involuntarily at school. The tags can be ironed back on if they start coming off too! All in all I've used these people (by mail order) for nearly 20 years now and have no hesitation in recommending them.

This is an excellent place to buy carpet from. They really are brilliant people who run this…read morewarehouse and yes it IS a warehouse not their shop. But here you get to see the carpets and buy pieces if they've got them. I've been up to their shop in Olney and they're nice there too, but I prefer going to the warehouse directly. Partly because it's nearer, but also because it's less formal and I'm not really a formal sort of person. The place is in an industrial part of the estate, and when you go in the inside is pretty industrial too, it's basically a big warehouse where they store the carpet and so on. They do have a fairly large choice though, and compared to a lot of the places locally they're also pretty good on price I think. When we've had carpets from them we've done it both ways sometimes getting them to do the fitting, and other times doing the fitting ourselves, and either way that's fine with them.
