I have found both owners of this company to be highly unethical. They took $1,600 in a deposit from me and agreed to start a job at my home on a Monday. I called them that prior Friday and they had forgotten about my job altogether, and bumped me out 2 months. They would not make any attempt to get my job done in the initial agreed upon timeframe, and they would not give me any of my deposit back. They are now holding my deposit and attempting to keep all of it under their nonrefundable contract clause, saying that I did not have a right to be upset and that there is a hostile work environment. The truth is I've tried repeatedly to resolve this amicably with them and was even expecting them to do the work at the later date. I believe that they've spent my deposit and don't have the decency to refund my deposit so that we can just part ways. This is wrong. They are in breach of the contract, and they have done nothing but jerk me around. Do not trust these people. I will be filing a claim against them in small claims court and advise everyone who reads this to not sign their contract with 50% down. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I hade a horrible experience with them. I feel violated and taken advantage of financially. I am currently paying to fix all the things he wouldn't and finish all the things he didn't even though I already paid him. I am also aware that I am not the only one with these very similar experiences. Suspiciously they changed their business name previously known as XPRO Remodeling now known as American Made Builders. He did this under Justin's supervision and when it all went to hell (the job is still half done) Justin walked away with all the remaining money, provided no receipts, and ceased to communicate. Justin let a crook ruin my building (while he was collecting 15% on top of the subcontractor's wage) and then after letting things go terribly wrong he was not not man, or businessman, enough to make things right.
