I ruined my referral and the girls at the front desk bent over backwards to help me in The kindest and most patient way! Once I got in to see the tech for my, mammogram it was the same. Kind and professional tech that was friendly and explained step by step what was happening. I then went for the breast sonogram and Tanya was amazing. Warm and pleasant. Been there a couple off times. Friendly staffs though sometimes they give you different answers to the same questions. I had to confirm my appointment just to make sure. Most reception people are Russians with accents. There definitely lost in translation for me. Their radiologists are very professional, patient and gentle with me each time I go. I am very satisfy with the service. Definitely visit back if needed. Its great that you don't need to make an appointment for xrays. You can walk in anything before 3pm. read more

They have a Coney Island ave location in Brighton beach! Do yourself a favor and avoid this office! There is not one professionally inclined person that works there! They're completely rude on top of their appointment scheduling mistakes! I told them what time my appointment was and the girl Moved it up an hour .. next day i get a call an hour before my appointment asking " where are you???? I said getting reading to come to my appointment at 3:30.. the girl moves away from the phone and starts sucking her teeth and saying omg in Russian as if her life just got ruined, then comes back on the phone whining saying hurry up and come then hangs up on me!!! Stay away from this office. Rude front desk, unprofessional, they don't ask appropriate questions before administrating tests and now after having 2 mammograms and and MRI with the contrast I need to repeat everything. Comolelty useless films. It took almost a week in between tests to even get the results to hear that I need to come back and have another test . Now that I went for a second opinion, I find out that the images are useless. They should not be in business. read more

I have never written a review in my life; that's how bizarre my experience with a tech was this morning. Apologies, this is going to be long. I went in for a routine ultrasound I've been getting 2x a year for the past 15 yrs for chronic liver disease. The test requires you to fast for 12 hours; no water, no food. But it's fairly straightforward and lasts 15-30 min. The hardest part is holding your breath so the images come out clear. This was my first time going to this office and I selected it purely because of location/insurance. I got there 20 min early for my 9 am appt; so early apparently that the office itself wasn't open yet. I ended up waiting in the lobby with several other patients and a tech who assured me the office would open at 9. It opened at 8:53 am lol. Another tech came in late speaking very loudly in Russian to her co-workers and without a mask on (I was apparently the only non-Russian speaking person there that day); everyone else in the office was wearing a mask. Turns out, this maskless woman was my tech. When I get to the exam room she has a mask on, which I appreciate since that is required for healthcare settings in NYS. Things start out normal enough except I was not offered a gown and told to just roll my shirt up; I have always been given a gown every other time I've had this procedure done. The gel was cold and the tech apologized for this, but I told her it was fine and made some joke about the non-stop rain this morning. A few minutes into the test, she is getting visibly frustrated and starts loudly sighing. The techs usually tell you to take a deep breath and hold it for several seconds and then instruct you to breathe out. I notice the tech is telling me to hold my breath for longer and longer; it starts becoming ridiculous, I'm talking beyond a minute and I am not an Olympic diver. At a certain point she literally stops telling me to breathe out at all. Then she looks at me and very sternly says that I'm not breathing deeply enough. I tell her I'm trying. She cuts me off and says, "No try. When I tell you to breathe, you do as I say and breathe." I say I am, but it is a little difficult for me with the mask on. She says, "this test is for you, not for me." I said I understand but that also there's no need to be rude. I say I've been getting this procedure twice a year since I was 15 and have never had any issues with techs. She says, "if the test is too hard for you, then don't do it." Then she starts grilling me about why I have been having these done for 15 yrs. I tell her the reason for the procedure is listed on the referral she has in front of her; she tells me she is entitled to know my detailed medical history and ask me whatever she wants. I tell her I would be fine with telling that to a doctor but have never had a tech ask me for a detailed medical history during the test. At this point, I ask if I can either get another tech or a doctor. She tells me there is no other tech and there is no doctor. I go outside to the receptionist's day and ask for another tech or the doctor and am told the same; as we are trying to figure out what to do, I see the tech walking towards me. Then she grabs me with both arms trying to basically turn my body away from the receptionist and towards her so we are face to face. I am not pleased (lol) and tell her in the calmest voice I think I've ever had (which honestly I shocked myself), "do not touch me." She lets go and I resume speaking with the receptionist who is being normal/professional and tries to help me figure out what to do. At this point the tech has walked away and is loudly speaking/yelling in Russian to another patient; my guess is the tech is talking about me since she is pointing at me. I have never stopped any kind of appointment/procedure before and honestly wasn't sure what to do as I was already charged a co-pay and likely be billed. I am so desperate to get this over with I consider just finishing this test with this tech and head back to the exam room and now the tech is full on angry. She is now shouting "I have rights too! I refuse to see you. I have rights too." I say, "Alright, clearly this is not working." As I get my things jacket off the chair, she comes within an inch of my face and angrily shuts off a light switch behind me in a super awkward maneuver. Clearly this woman is not all there. On my way out, I apologize to the receptionist for causing a scene and the receptionist tells me not to apologize and says she's sorry for my experience. Not sure what the hell happened today but I would not go here. The receptionist was courteous, but unfortunately it's the tech who is conducting the procedure. I might have shrugged it off as "she's having a bad day" had it not been for her extremely questionable choice to grab me at the receptionist's desk. Any office that employs techs who are physically aggressive for no reason is not an office that cares about the safety/well being of their patients. read more

I went to this office for mammogram. Radiologist Alla was so nice and professional. First time in my life I left office without pain with CD in my hands and good emotions. Totally Unprofessional! They refused to call my insurance company to get the referral even after my doctor told them that that is my insurance plan's policy. Wasted my time and money going to this location, and they were not helpful at all. My doctor's office said the receptionist who called was rude and hung up when she was put on hold. I will never return. read more
