The borders were chipped and crooked. I told Wissam to cut them with a wet saw and he told me you can't cut them with a wet saw. I have seen them cut with a wet saw and they come out dead straight. He cut them with an angle grinder and chipped them to the point that they are unusable. He did not lay the tiles flat to the wall and they are all bumpy. The gaps between the tiles are un-even and look terrible. The pattern did not match in the corner. So both walls have mis-matched patterns. He layed the bottom niches tiles on such a large angle that it looks ridiculous and needs to be removed. When I told him the job was rough and not suitable he argued with me that he did not have enough time, although it was a fix price quote which they came out and viewed. Wissam also told me he would fill all the chipped marble with grout. He has no pride in his work and should not be laying tile, look at the attached photos as proof. He was argumentative and would not listen and told me multiple times he did not have the time to do the work correctly. He also told me I should tell him which tiles are not laid correctly. I explained to him, that he should know as he should be a professional tiler. I had to walk him off site and it is going to cost me thousands to fix his stuff up. I am going to remove the tiles and have them re-laid correctly. It was a shame that someone dug up this marble, cut them into a lovely pattern, only to have Wissam hack them with an angle grinder. When I called them about it and told them their "experienced" tiler didn't back butter and hammered the screws in, they expected we should be supervising their worker. EMBARRASSING. The manager Hassan told me to call back on a Saturday but he's simoly switched off his phone and ignore any further calls. They don't want to honour their warranty. DISGRACE. Stay away from them.
