We love YAFA! We frequent the Dublin one quite often since we live across the street it's hard not too lol!! First off the customer service is stellar. Raymon and Francisco are pretty much there every time. They truly do a good job providing friendly and efficient customer service. Raymond helps me when I'm indecisive and his recommendations are always deelish! I met one of owners once and he was just as fantastic as the rest of the staff! We always order a huge serving of Babaganoush with their pita bread for our family parties as it is truly the best. The bowls to the pita gyro, chicken wraps to the soft serve baklava dessert amaaaazing! Oh we love the crispy french fries too for some reason they remind me of Chester fries lol! Great little place if you want a fast lunch. My friend and I had about 20 minutes before we had to head to the Oakland airport. Came in here and ordered the falafel wrap, side of dolma and a deluxe falafel wrap. Minutes later we are already eating and they were delicious. Wraps are pretty giant so we each had to save half To Go. But the dolmas were gone lickity split! I definitely would come here again for a fast and satisfying lunch. read more

WOW! My stomach is so happy right now. I ordered a bowl with Greek salad and half gyro half shawarma chicken. The Greek salad was so fresh and crunchy, despite having warm meat sit on top of it for half an hour. The gyro was tender and the chicken had a nice char. I poured the garlic sauce and tzatziki on top of it, mixed it up and it was a heavenly combination that left me full but also not feeling like I ate fast food (by the way, the food came out so quickly). The spicy hummus was so tasty, unsurprisingly. More surprisingly, my boyfriend who doesn't typically enjoy hummus really enjoyed it and finished off my pita bread. I can't wait to come back and try all of the other types of hummus. The soup was nice and hearty and the baklava was the perfect sweet ending. I love that they offer a "build your own" so you can customize it to your liking. I did wish I asked for more tzatziki sauce, as it was sooo good... now wanting to make my own! I believe it was the owner that helped me, he was super friendly and kind, so even if the food was decent (it was actually amazing), I would still come here to support his business. This review will include food but the real stars were the two guys working the grill and register on Toosday nite Feb. 21th around 6pm. First the food....very flavorful wraps cut in half. I cannot add much more than what most of the reviews have on the food. It is about 100 times more tasty than gotta eat a pita. It is much more similar to Yalla which was in persimmon plaza in Dublin. With my new found love of Mediterranean food, I thought I'd give Yafa Hummus a try. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Shawarma & it definitely was spicy. The chicken was flavorful & the garlic hummus had a slight hint of garlic (although I would have preferred more). All of the vegetables (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, & onion) were so fresh that you could taste & it added to the nutritional value of the wrap. Stars are for the mediterranean fast food restaurant it claims to be. From the entrance very clean and with some art design features on the walls and the lights. Place has inside and outside seating. Very friendly personnel and management that will go above and beyond to satisfy customer needs asking the type of food and preferred calorie intake. Very considerable. Bowls are the blast! Lighter on the salad with gyro and chicken, heavier on in-house hummus with similar proteins. Falafel is a must, although ask not to overfry it to keep soft and flavorful. Yafa Hummus is located in a convenient plaza next to Chipotle and Target. I came for dinner to order takeout. The owner greated me and was extremely kind and very hospitable. The store is quaint and clean and very inviting. The plates are build your own where you can customize the bowl. You choose the base (hummus, rice, etc), meat (chicken, gyro, falafel), and sides (garbanzo beans, hummus, tabbouleh, etc. They all come with a sauce on the side which includes garlic sauce, which is so good. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, gyro plate, and a chicken wrap. For sides, I had some regular hummus, spicy hummus, mixed beans, tabbouleh, garbanzo beans for my sides.  My favorite were the two types of hummus.  Those were delicious!!!  The spicy hummus was especially delicious!  I loved it. The mixed beans and garbanzo beans were a bit lacking flavor though, which is one of the reasons for the 4 starts instead of 5. For the meats, the gyro had great flavor, but should have been cut off the big meat slab at the time people order to keep the juiciness and the freshness. The chicken was also a bit dry, which is the main reason for the 4 instead of 5 starts. One suggestions of for the crew to keep the chicken soaked in the juices to better retain moisture so that when served, it'll still taste juicy. I also had the lentil soup as an appetizer and pistachio baklava for dessert. The soup was delicious and same of the baklava. Sometimes baklava can be a bit sweet, but the ones they have here are delicious! I can't wait to go back soon! read more

This restaurant is located in an outdoor shopping center with a large parking lot. My bf and I visited on a Saturday in the late morning. Parking was easy. The restaurant had just opened and was not busy. Plenty of seating was available both inside and outside of the restaurant. The vibe was relaxed and casual. The menu was standard for a Mediterranean restaurant. All of their sides were vegetarian. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, large Dolma side (6 pieces) and large Tabuleh side. Our food was ready at the counter in a timely manner and nicely plated on the tray. According to my bf, the shawarma was delicious but a tad small. My sides were in good portion and probably the best Dolma and Tabuleh I've had. The were both very light and of the perfect moisture level. Customer service was outstanding. During COVID, the local restaurants that make it on to our family's takeout rotation share a few characteristics: -- the food is tasty -- the dishes are easy to remember -- the prices are budget friendly -- the service is prompt and no-fuss, and -- the location is easy to access and pick up from. After first experiencing Yafa Hummus when we were in Livermore last month, the family was craving their addictive gyros, shareable back-home-style shawarma wraps, and seasoned pita chips. So I placed an order with their west Dublin location (opposite Target, next to Panera), which is a lot closer to us. The order was ready in less than the ten minutes it took me to drive there. They kindly let me substitute a small regular hummus dip for the "free with Yelp check-in" drink; I wanted to try something other than the pesto hummus, which is what we'd ordered to go with the pita chips. Back home, the food was devoured in short order. Every dish hit the mark, as we'd learned what not to get from our previous experience. The only new wrinkle - the regular hummus - was even better (creamier) than their superb pesto hummus, and the girls polished it off first! Delicious fast food style Mediterranean food! We saw this restaurant open during Covid and we were happy to try out this new place. Their menu offers wraps/pitas, bowls and salads with a choice of proteins and sides. The protein choices are gyro meat, chicken and falafel. We sampled a few items and everything was fresh and delicious! Back home style is a wrap that's grilled to finish and it's filled with chicken shawarma, garlic sauce and pickles. So good! The interior is one long counter on the other side is the prep table. I've been there a twice, both times I ordered a couple bowls. It is very similar to a Greek Chipotle. The bowls are $11.50 with a choice of Chicken Shawarma, sliced Gyro or Falafal, then choose a base of Hummus, White or Brown Rice, or salad. With the bowls you get two sides of either, Hummus, generous portions, good Pesto Hummus Greek Salad, Tabuleh, fresh, good Baba Ghanoush, eggplant was the best side, in a creamy yogurt sauce Spicy Hummus, Kale-slaw Mixed beans Dolma,*** Do not order, the Dolma was hard dry and chalky. minus star. Then, a choice of dressing, Tahini, Garlic, Chili Sauce Tzatziki. ***Pro Tip*** ask for the sauce on the side the second time my bowls were drenched in sauce (see pics) The food was good, and I understand it is fast food Mediterranean, but the presentation could be improved. [During Covid Review] Great place to get some good hummus let me tell you. It's located in a big plaza in Dublin next to Chipotle with plenty of parking spaces. While they do have outside seating, they are right now they are letting people sit inside. I'm unsure of how they ensure the 6 ft guideline distance, but when I went with my fiance, it wasn't busy so we had the place to ourselves. I ended up customizing my wrap and the way it works is you let them know what kind of bread you want, protein (chicken shawarma/gyro/falafel), and you get to pick what you want inside the wrap along with the dressing. When you customize a wrap, they have you see what you want to put in it and they do it right in front of you. I ended up with pita bread, chicken shawarma, tomato, hummus, mediterranean salad, spring mix, and garlic dressing on top. This was so delicious I tell you that I wish I could have ordered it again. My fiance ordered a customized bowl where he chose spring mix as his base, falafel, spicy hummus, mediterranean salad, and to top it off with chili sauce and tzatziki. He said his bowl was really good too and that the spicy hummus dressing was delicious. It was so delicious he ended up ordering a bowl of that spicy hummus to go! Grabbing Chipotle for my son. I decided to try Yafa Hummus for the first time. I was craving a gyro. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Ambiance is basic, but clean. I ordered the gyro with extra side of tzatziki and hot spice (sauce). I didn't receive the extra side of tzatziki. Tzatziki has seasoning in it. This one didn't as you can see below. The white sauce was like a creamy garlic or horseradish. The beef was dry and not sure if the onions were freshly cut because I got a mouth full twice of the hard but chewy onion skin. You know the part that usually gets cut away & thrown out. Not very impressed. I was really looking forward to an authentic gyro. Went here for the first time yesterday. The wait wasn't too long for my food (considering that I didn't call in ahead). I had the Falafel Wrap. I don't usually get falafel wraps, as I've found they're generally soggy and don't feel like the ingredients are well-integrated. Yafa's is a whole other story. The wrap is made with falafel mix served on lavash with hummus,spring mix, tomatoes, pickles, & tahini sauce. I added a little bit of garlic sauce as well. The wrap seemed a bit small in comparison with others I've had. However, the ingredients are well integrated, and the wrap is toasted, so it's got a nice crunch to it. And, after eating the wrap, I wasn't overly full or stuffed, so I guess it was a perfect size. I enjoyed my wrap very much, and will be back! read more

Tried their food twice now in the past month and I vote for them to be the best in this area. Glad they finally decided to open another location and picked Dublin. Tried their chicken wraps, amazing.. they have a lot of meat in them so the option of "extra meat" was way too heavy for me the first time when I tried them. Also the falafels here a legit, green on the inside, not dry at all, don't even need a sauce or side to enjoy. How good is that? Yafa Hummus is my new favorite Mediterranean fast-food restaurant in the area. I had a local favorite until now but it is now switched to Yafa. It is a bit farther from my house, but it's worth it. There's a certain popular burrito chain restaurant right next door at this location. As much as I love that restaurant too, people visiting the Dublin location would be advised to take a detour to Yafa. I am not sure what I can say the star of the plate is at Yafa. I love everything that I get. I've only been there twice now, but I am already into a track of getting the same thing: bowl with a based of traditional hummus, dolmas, tabouleh, falafel, vegan tahini, and hot chili sauce. I am a tabouleh fan and also a snob. The tabouleh here fits my tastes perfectly. The citrus in it is just right and lights up my palate. The hummus is smooth and tastes perfect. The falafel has been cooked to perfection both times. The dolmas are soft and tasty; the leaves have not been tough. There is limited seating outside and I recommend using it so that you get to enjoy your food fresh and get the real texture and favor that it is meant to have. read more
