We usually just drink tap water with most of our meals, especially anything spicy. So when I asked for tap water in the glass I did get a nice big glass but was charged 1 euro, .20 for the water. Maybe it's just me, but when you ask for water from the tap, I don't think there should be a charge, or if there is, they should let you know this ahead of time.
