We waited a minute for a table to finish so we could get a spot at the front, next to where the paragliders land. There were also fans above us to keep us cool! I was a bit skeptical because of its prime location in a touristy area that it would be any good, but I was delighted! The staff were very accommodating when we were waiting for a waterfront table. We were able to order quickly, and the staff were very attentive. We ordered a mix of items to share for our family of 4. I ordered the Iskender Kebab (one of my favorite Turkish dishes), and my son got a pizza. The restaurant is mainly Italian, and they specialize in pizzas; however they also offer Turkish items and some British items, so I think the menu satisfies most. We all loved our dishes, but even better than the food, was the atmosphere. It was very relaxing to sit along the front, watching the paragliders land, and watching the ocean waves. The first night we had golzeme (sp?)(cheese and herbs), a wrap, and hummus and ezmer (sp? Red pepper appetizer). The golzeme was very good and was made fresh in front of us. The wrap was good though not memorable. And the ezmer, which we'd tried as at multiple places, was the spiciest we'd had. The second night we got the golzeme again, an ottoman salad, dolmas, and finished with a lemon and sugar golzeme. The Ottoman salad was a nice light salad, which we split, with a lemony dressing and walnuts. The dolmas had the most interesting taste with a bit of mint I think. The lemon and sugar golzeme was a fun change from baklava but wouldn't necessarily be my favorite thing under other circumstances. The ambience is in a busy square under a big old tree with great people watching. Lots of kitties visited but politely kept their distance.
