Chicken Piccata: Wasn't one of the best I ever had. Chicken was tender and cooked nicely. The flavor of the pan sauce was good. However, I had better and could find a lot of places, especially in NY, with just as good or better. Caesar Salad: They definitely do not skimp on the parmesan, which is the best thing about the salad. The lettuce was fresh and of good quality. I will say, the dressing wasn't great and the amount of lemon juice overpowered the whole dish. The service leaned more towards good than average but not over the top like most places in NY. The ambiance was great but that had more to do with the fact that we went during Christmas. Can you beat dinner at an Italian place in NY during Christmas? Maybe but it's few and far between.

There were a lot of regulars there and the staff was very friendly joking around the entire time. I had the corned beef and hash with eggs which included a side of buttered toast and potatoes. The corned beef hash was good and they cooked the eggs the way I requested it, which I appreciated. The potatoes were sadly bland and mushy so they needed salt and ketchup to taste like anything. The total bill was around $15 which was reasonable for the amount of food but it's cash only so don't forget to bring some!

The hygiene? Clean enough, but don't expect spotless. It's an old diner. LOVED their pancakes. So soft and fluffy and sweet. Sausages tasted nostalgic. They may be frozen and from a box, but they're good whatever they are using. Husband had corned beef hash and eggs with toast. It was a smaller portion than you would expect, but was the perfect amount of food still. If the line is super long, keep in mind it should move fairly quickly because when you sit down you don't get a chance to really take a deep breath and relax, so turnover is quick. However, if you're starving- go next door to Casa Magazine: get a small coffee and one of their pre-made breakfast burritos. The burritos are quite small (about 10 bites total). My husband and I were starving so we each split one coffee together to stay warm and split the small burrito. A fun little waiting-in-line snack.

Even if we wouldn't have gotten a window table and it wasn't Christmas, the vibes and interior of this place would have still been great. We went in December night of 2024 so some aspects of the menu have changed however, most of the dishes still appear to be on their menu as of now, June 2026. It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.

The restaurant was relatively spacious for Manhattan, with dim lighting and a beautiful floral exterior. They also had a great-looking antique bar. For drinks, I ordered the watermelon mocktail, but really was not a fan. I ended up swapping with my partner and drinking his non-alc beer instead. For starters, we shared the Insalata Di Caesar. This was a pretty mediocre Caesar salad, but got the job done. For entrees, most of us ordered pasta dishes but none of them were stellar. My Ravioli Di Crostacei was pretty bland and my partner's Spaghetti Bolognese just tasted like the pasta you could make at home. Service was friendly and they managed our large table well, but overall, I wasn't thrilled with Da Andrea.

Beautiful space and attentive staff. It is a little dark to see the menu and in certain areas the music from the speakers is a little loud, to the point the staff occasionally had trouble hearing what we were saying. Amazing food and great portions. The birthday celebrant was very happy she chose this restaurant! Minor cons: 1. we were asked if we want bread for the table, said yes, it never arrived. 2. We were all served our apps except one person. Her salad was forgotten in the kitchen and it took a few minutes to see the waiter to let him know. The wine options were either FELICE ROSÉ FELICE CHARDONNAY FELICE SANGIOVESE. 3 of us had the rosé, the other 2 had the chardonnay (and we each were happy with our selections). I like that the rosé was still and not too sweet. For my app I had the GAMBERI , VONGOLE E FAGIOLI (sautéed shrimp and Manila clams w Cannellini beans. It is in like a broth that you can soak up the bread in that it comes with. For my main I went with the SALMONE medium-rare. (oven-roasted Faroe Islands pepper crusted salmon, black beluga lentils, braised swiss chard). I posted some pictures of some of the other dishes at our table. I had a taste of the FETTUCCINE ALLA BOLOGNESE and it was amazing! The pasta tastes so fresh. We somehow made room to each order gelato and/or sorbet. I chose a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of pistachio. I had a small taste of the hazelnut gelato that someone ordered and it had a slight frozen taste to it, so I'm glad I didn't order that one. (She said she liked the hazelnut.)

The ambiance is very relaxing and cozy. Italian Bread: The soft, doughy bread went well with the olive oil. Although I enjoyed this starter, it was rather unusual to be served table bread prior to breakfast. Omelette: This breakfast plate included roasted potatoes and bacon. While the potato was tasty, it really did not pair well with the omelette. A hash brown or home fries would have been a better choice. French Toast: The french toast is undoubtedly my favorite breakfast plate. It was generously piled with several strawberries and blue berries. My only critique was that the side of whipped cream could have been larger. When I return in the future, I will be sure to order a lunch or dinner entree. I feel this establishment is not really set up for breakfast plates, which was evident from the bread and side dish served. #felice #hudsonstreet #frenchtoast #italianbread #omelette #italianrestaurant #feliceonhudson #italianbread

We ordered the duck confit, moules frites, and escargot. The escargot was flavorful and tender, served piping hot. I got a little impatient and burned my mouth, but it was worth it. The moules frites was also excellent. The mussels were cooked perfectly, and the light citrusy broth was so delicious that I almost wanted to ask for a spoon just to drink it. The duck confit was the only dish that fell a bit short for me. While the duck itself was cooked well, the flavor did not stand out much, and it was slightly too salty for my taste. Overall, a great spot with a fun atmosphere.
