If I could give zero stars I would. This company changed hands without so much as a letter to clients advising them. To even get a response or customer service is very difficult if not impossible. They are not acting in a positive way to their clients and I would strongly suggest not using them at all. Very disappointing on everything they do at this point. So awful!! Yarnell did an install that was a retro fit. They sent a tech for install and the motherboard fried in the first week. I waited for a replacement and regretted ever signing with them. Zero customer service - the system never worked properly . Unreliable and was bought out by Pye Barker. read more

I wish I could give a negative star. I signed a contract with the sales rep and the technician came to install the security system. The system all malfunctioned started day one, give all the false alarms and all the troubles, tried to contact the company for the problems, the technicain came but didn't solve the problems. I cancelled the contract less than a week after the installation and the sales rep told me that I didn't own them anything (they didn't charge me yet) and I could keep all the equipment even I told him that I did not want those equipment, those equipment are gabarge to me if they didn't work. I asked them to come to remove the equipment and take them back. They said I would have to pay the labor cost if they came to do the removing. A little later I received a bill showing that I own them more than $1300 somthing (the orignal contract price), I then removed the equipment myself and sent back to them. They told me that I only own them 10% restocking fee which is about $130, that I paid them later. Thinking the nightmare was finally ended. But a few months later they send me another bill for $1300 (the original contract price), I then called them to ask, they told me that this amount was for the labor cost. After some talks they said they made a mistake and said I own them nothing. This company is totally a jerk and all they give is NIGHTMARE. read more

I've been a customer with Yarnell for many years, and the last few years the customer service manager will not call me back, won't take my calls, I pay their annual fees for service and it is terrible. Find another company, and since it got bought out it has only gotten worse. read more
