When I met with the doctor about 1 month later, he carried with him that same matter-of-fact but not-here-to-scare-you attitude. I am so happy to have been referred to Dr. Sakbun.

I haven't seen Dr Malik in a very very long time. He delivered my son C-Section and, 21 years later…read moreis still doing Amazing!. Around 2014-2016 Dr Hina found a Huge tumor on my ovarie, and when it came time a week or so before my surgery, Dr Hina was out of state so Dr Malik Did my surgery and I healed wonderfully. He was always so nice during my visits and exams and explaining everything. His voice is low when talking, but that's just how he talks and just need to listen more carefully. I'd rather have a doctor speak low than loud, just my opinion. I Will be back, cause I need Dr Malik help and expertise on something new and I need my yearly exams. As of 2026 though, search engines say he is closed and some saying open with the same phone number from years ago, but when I try and call it just rings with no answer on business days.? Could someone help me in reaching Dr Malik, Please? Thanks so much. You're Awesome Dr Malik and hope to see you soon for a much needed appointment.

My appointment was scheduled at 12:30 pm, I was seen at 3:30pm and was never told how long my wait…read morewas going to be. I also stood the ENTIRE time because there were so many people waiting that the small office didn't have enough chairs. The staff was obviously rushed and stressed. Finally I got into my appointment and saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes because he had to go deliver a baby. I was very disappointed that I didn't get to ask all of my questions. I was prescribed medicine without knowing what is was, what it was for, or what the plan was. I was also supposed to have blood drawn so I went back to the waiting room until they were ready for me. I ended up waiting for another HOUR before I asked the woman at the desk how much longer it would be. She said that they thought I had left and that they could do it then.......I finally asked the nurse about the medication I had been prescribed and got a vague answer of what it was at least. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options in Terre Haute, so I hope my next appointment isn't so irritating...

When I asked him about how many C-sections he'd preformed he said "Oh, millions. Millions." When did he start? When he learned to walk? NOT the kind of answer I want to receive when I require a C-section because of my rare muscle condition, which can be a serious condition when any surgery is required. He did not inspire any faith in me about his abilities. I changed doctors after one visit. Also, his examination room opens RIGHT to the check out counter! There are people standing there checking out while you're nude from the waist down. Neither him or his staff make any attempt to block the view from the counter when they open the door. Ugh.

The next 3 times I asked for an appointment with Dr. Hina and they gave me Dr. Malik. He is the worse doctor I have ever seen. He mumbles and repeats the same generic statements. When I expressed a concern or tried to ask a question I felt as though he just pushed my concerns and questions aside and, again, gave a generic answer such as "oh no there will be no problem there" but not explaining why. He gave me several prescriptions without discussing them with me and gave me a birth control with the most horrific side effects imaginable. I went online and read reviews and didn't see one positive review on this medication, yet he was willing to give me this. He doesn't listen and he doesn't care. I will NEVER go back to him.

Worst Patient Care & Customer Service from a Medical Clinic I have ever experienced in my life. I…read morehad a family physician growing up in my hometown, served on Active Duty in the military under numerous doctors, served in the National Guard under different doctors, have lived in three different cities with different family physicians and the Terre Haute Medical Clinic was the absolute worst. The staff that answers the phones, confirms appointments and greets customers act as though they hate their job, were completely unprofessional and hateful. When trying to get my records transferred, I had a signed release form faxed from my current family physician and watched the gal at the front desk do it. The staff at the THMC told me I needed this form signed and faxed so that's what I did and the staff at the Terre Haute Medical Clinic either never executed the transfer of my records or just threw the fax away. When I called to check on the status of my records, the staff said "even if we did get the fax we legally have 30 days to send them." After that response, I asked if she could check to verify my records were still there and the gal answering the phone that day said she doesn't have time to check for my record. I told her I needed that record so my new doctor could provide the same prescription that worked for my ailment in the past and she said "Sir, I don't have time to look for your record, we don't have email so send another fax" and then hung up on me. Part of being a respected family physician, or a respected business for that matter, is not just the service or treatment, but the entire experience. If you are only meeting your patients half way, why would you expect your patients to be loyal to your practice?
