We took an afternoon drive out to the park and it is definitely worth the effort and time. Legend has it, that Daniel Boone as a boy and his family first used the cave in one manner or another around 1751. There are numerous developed trails with a trailhead at the top. The walk down to the cave is pretty serious, its built wooden steps but its a serious climb down and even more so up. This is the only drawback to visiting the cave. If you are not prepared to climb back up, I didn't count them but its a couple hundred steps easily. Its an impressive build, but it is a serious climb coming back up. 4 Stars a cool historical park and worth a visit 01166

They did a search for my rack but could not find it and we agreed we would just rent a regular pedal bike. I appreciate their concern and ability to accommodate my change in bike rentals. Our family…read morerecently booked a trolley ride to transport us to Spencer NC's train museum for the Polar Express experience. We loaded up our whole family of 13, including 5 toddlers and we had a BLAST! The Trolley has been beautifully restored and incredibly comfortable. The owner, Hal, made sure we had a smooth and fun ride, playing Christmas music and making sure we were all having a fun time. He spent time with the kids showing them how different parts of the trolley worked and let them ring the bell. The excitement of riding the trolley honestly was as much fun if not more fun than the actual train ride to follow. We had such a wonderful time that we hired them again to take our family through Tanglewood's festival of lights. I can't imagine us going through the light show in any other way. Hal made sure to point out all of the displays that he knew the kids would enjoy. He also knew a great deal about the history of Tanglewood and shared a ton of interesting facts about how the park has changed over the years. The memories create on both of these rides will be cherished by our entire family and so happy we made the decision to go with Triad Trolleys! If you are looking for a fun way of exploring the Triad area or simply for a fun night out, I cannot begin to recommend enough renting one of their trolleys for your adventure! We will be using their services again and again!

They have a very large and nice building easy to find right off of highway 8 heading toward High Rock Lake. Inside they had a pretty decent selection of clothing, hats, footwear, etc. Slightly outsdoorsy type stuff with a good bit of casual clothing as well. They had some sales, and we actually wound up buying a few items! Beside that they had fishing, camping, kayaking, disk golf. Just a pretty good assortment of everything. They certainly don't have the same assortment and selection as one of the huge outdoors stores, but most of the items where from a slightly higher quality brand than your average items at those stores as well. As for prices, I wouldn't call it "drive out of your way to save" type prices, but comparable to what you would pay online for the handful of items I looked at closely. They also have a large boat showroom and a few golf carts, but I did not look too closely, however, tucked behind the boats is a small coffee shop. Would definitely be a nice spot to stop early in the morning to grab your coffee and whatever you needed for the lake! Overall, the employees were very helpful to us, they had a decent selection, and I will probably be back if I am over in that area!

It wasn't till July of 26 that i finally got my boat registration, and now it's August and i still haven't gotten my tags for my trailer from them. If you plan to use your boat as soon as you get it or even within a few months of purchase i strongly suggest you DO NOT BUY FROM ROCK OUTDOORS.

White glove service compounded by the owner's interest in providing an A+ service and making sure the experience is continued on ....be it a a few $ component to thousands of dollars worth of purchase. I only hope the rest of the staff are as driven as Chris the owner .....that is a tough ask of any business. I am impressed, and hope they continue and provide loyalty and the same white glove service at all levels of employ at Trek.

While their selection was limited due to it being the off-season and changeover for next season's new models, staff was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I learned a lot about the different styles of kayaks, paddles and personal flotation devices (PFDs). I walked away with considerable knowledge to weigh my options before making a commitment. They also offer classes and instruction on water safety and skills enhancement. Highly recommend visiting!
