The staff here are just the sweetest. I think they were students, but they were so sweet and smiling the entire time. We ordered a few items off the menu and asked for pickles on the side, and they gave us both pickles and jalapeños. This cafe is right by the original Yellowstone sign, so it is a perfect stop before you enter the park. They have some Yellowstone merch in here, so I, of course, had to get a hat. The menu had a variety of sandwiches and desserts with their speciality Huckleberry. It started to get pretty busy after we got in, but we were still able to get a seat in the back for all of us. The sandwiches were great, and some came with chips. They were an easy, quick eat that didn't leave too much of a mess. If I weren't full, I would've wanted to try some ice cream cause we did see them bring in like 24 huge tubs of ice cream.

Very cute shop that is busy at all times it seems. Parking is in a shared lot along the shopping center corridor. It has drinks, pastries , ice cream candies ect as far food items. It also has souvenirs such as postcards, magnets stuffed animals toys. There are places to sit to enjoy your snack as well. Prices are not outrageous but definitely on the upper side. I would return to get more huckleberry items. I enjoyed my huckleberry ice cream.

Wanted to get a quick bite close to Yellowstone np north entrance. We took a picture with the park sign close by and this was one of the closest places that was open. We ordered some drinks and the Viacom tacos. We were pleasantly surprised. The tacos were really great ! Beef was seasoned nicely and tasted great and they were filled with a lot of cheese and salsa. We noticed the nice smell of the freshly made waffle cones so we also got some ice cream after that. Chocolate chip and chocolate. The ice cream and the cone were also great. The folks working here were also nice and quick when we needed anything. Great little spot that's worth a stop.

If you want the best breakfast ever, you better stop here. We stayed in Gardiner for two days while in the park and we made sure to stop here both days. The food is amazing, coffee is great and the people are so friendly! The owners/managers seem to really take ownership and make sure the customers are satisfied. You can also ask enjoy the views of the mountains while eating in the outside seating area as well! They also have a great selection of shirts, souvenirs and drinks to go. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

My new spot for a matcha to stop and grab before entering the park! Get the huckleberry one as it's not too sweet! Didn't have this but heard the buffalo tacos are delish from a woman who owns a catering business. Lots of cute hats, tshirts and sweatshirts too. Oh and the ice cream is good as well. Parking right out front but on a busy weekend it can be tough. Free bathroom for customers.

We were looking for a quick breakfast restaurant that opened early so we can grab a bite to eat before heading to Yellowstone National park. The men and women that worked here were very friendly, and energetic that one morning! I ordered a breakfast sausage sandwich, and my husband ordered a breakfast burrito! We both enjoyed our breakfast choices! The restaurant was clean, and doubled down as a gift/souvenir shop/coffee shop/ice cream shop! Who says you cannot do it all?!

One of the friendliest and most welcoming food stops in Montana. Hit Yellowstone Perk back to back nights for dinner. It's like Central Perk from "Friends" with a small town twist! First night Bison burger, second night Elk bratwurst. Both tasty. The wife got Bison tacos both nights and enjoyed them. Witnessed a sweet card trick that a local showed us at the table that was fun! No doubt one of the best chocolate milkshakes I've had. When in Gardiner, Montana swing in for a good meal, tasty treat, or full coffee bar to take your Yellowstone vacation to the next LEVEL!

The best cold brew I had in Yellowstone was here! There were patrons lining out the door. The nicest man was working here, I believe his name was Tony. He was greeting everyone like they were family. All the cold brew needed was a splash of milk, it was such high quality. The milkshakes looked great, so maybe we'll try that next time.

Came here before heading into Yellowstone for the day. Walked in, very pricy breakfast. We still decided to eat there, not wanting to waste time. It turned out to be a good decision. The sandwiches were awesome and came out fast, and I especially loved the chipotle aioli they used on them. If you don't mind the price (15ish dollars) I definitely recommend this place. read more

This place actually exceeded my expectations. The options in terms of food are limited, but what they do serve is pretty good and I would have gone back every morning if I had stayed in the area. The have a bathroom for customers and there is pretty plenty of parking. They have hot breakfast items, and some pastry type breads as well as ice cream. The souvenirs are reasonably priced relative to the other souvenir stores. The cashier and barista are very friendly also. Highly recommend this place! read more

The coffee and food are just ok and it is very overpriced. It seems to be more of a last stop/tourist trap for Yellowstone visitors and I'm sure there are better places to get coffee in Gardiner. read more

I'm sure the coffee and breakfast are amazing, but the kids angus burger does not taste like a burger. It tastes like a hot dog, but not a good hot dog. For 12 dollars it is not worth it. The service was good and the restaurant was nice, but I would not recommend the burger. read more

Really cute little store with an adorably punny name! My friends and I shared a cup of huckleberry, vanilla, and black cherry ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately we didn't stay long to try any of the other offerings, but definitely would recommend folks stop by for the huckleberry ice cream alone. read more

Friendly establishment just inside Gardiner, MT. We stopped here for lunch before heading back into Yellowstone NP to tour Mammoth and were greeted with such friendliness, I wish we could have had more time to go back again. Our family had an assortment of food items, recommended by the staff, all made from bison meat. The bison tacos were amazing and the bison nachos received rave reviews from my teenager. My younger child declared the bison burger to be the best he's ever tasted. Would highly recommend for a quick meal in Gardiner. read more

Great stop for a sweet treat after a day of rafting on the river. The service was fantastic, both quick and friendly. The breakfast sandwiches were overpriced and my egg sandwich was undercooked. Although, my partner did like the vegetarian breakfast sandwich. This is an amazing coffee, breakfast, and ice cream restaurant. Todd, the owner, was awesome and friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had a bagel sandwich, yogurt and granola (mmmm), and bison scramble and had leftovers. Clean and highly recommended. Plus, they played 80's music, which was an added bonus. read more

We got coffee here two mornings in a row. Both times, I got mocha and my wife got a caramel macchiato the first day and a mocha with a splash of caramel the second day. My drinks were great, and they were the same each time. She really liked hers, and we will definitely go back. read more

We got there at 6:50am and the door was open so we walked in not knowing it didn't open until 7am. The man working the counter was extremely rude, he stared at me like I was stupid and then said "we're not open!" then he turned around and got back to what he was doing. While waiting for the river rafting, we just went 2 doors down to get some quick brunch. The food turned out amazingly tasty, and that affogato (espresso + almond mocha fudge ice cream) was unbelievable genius idea. My son was dying to tried some bison, i know that sounds insane right by the national park, but he was super content and have one of his wish list checked. read more

We were hungry after coming back from Yellowstone Park on a Friday afternoon. We stopped at Yellowstone Perk. The two employees at Yellowstone Perk were really nice and accommodating. We had some questions about their menu items. They answered them without hesitation. Yellowstone Perk mostly has paninis and sandwiches on their lunch menu. We got a beef panini and my son got a pulled pork sandwich. The panini was just ok. I think I would've liked it more if they didn't put some type of mayonnaise sauce in it. It tasted weird to me. I didn't care for it at all. It had a lot of small chopped onions in it. It was also sour tasting. That right there killed the vibe for me. I should've asked for them not to include it! Idk, I guess I thought it would've been different. I got potato chips and a soda. I ate what I could of the panini. My son didn't really like the pulled pork sandwich. He hardly touched it and I wasn't going to make him eat it. Honestly, it didn't look that appetizing. The sauce mixed in with the pork looked light pink. I'm used to it looking dark brown from the BBQ sauce. All of this was $52 and change. That's pretty expensive! Yellowstone Perk also carries coffee and ice cream. I should've tried them but I didn't! I regret it! If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stop by to try their ice cream and/or coffee. They also offer breakfast. I might also try that. read more

Late in the season, this is one of the only places open and they did not disappoint. The food is made fresh- we got the bison scramble which was so so good I wish I took a picture, and the traditional breakfast which was also good. They also have variety of coffees and ice cream. The Ukrainian duo that runs it were especially pleasant to talk to. Gift shop also had a bunch of cute stuff. Happy we stopped! read more

The cashier who I believe is the owner or just has amazing customer service was such a delight. Explained everything well and had such a good energy. Food and drinks came out quickly regardless of them being backed up. I got a wild berry smoothie which tasted delicious along with a sprinkled donut. Both recommended. After visiting Yellowstone we stopped in for some ice cream. The place was busy with all the tables occupied but no problem for us as we planned to eat outside. They have some fun memorabilia to commemorate your trip to Yellowstone. The workers were friendly. Downside they do NOT allow for samples of the ice cream so I was hesitant to order the Huckleberry or Lemon especially for $8 for the "large" bowl. Went with the safe option of strawberry cheesecake. Unfortunately it had tiny pieces of ice in it like it'd melted and been refrozen. My husband didn't have that issue with his. read more

GSG's cafe seems to be the only cafe in town to actually have locals in it drinking their coffees while passing countless hours of the day away (most likely gossiping about own townies and homely, outdoorsy tourists). I recommend Yellowstone Gifts & Sweets down the street but both stores have different items for sale unlike many other tourist towns.
