Really cute little store with an adorably punny name! My friends and I shared a cup of huckleberry, vanilla, and black cherry ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately we didn't stay long to try any of the other offerings, but definitely would recommend folks stop by for the huckleberry ice cream alone. read more

Friendly establishment just inside Gardiner, MT. We stopped here for lunch before heading back into Yellowstone NP to tour Mammoth and were greeted with such friendliness, I wish we could have had more time to go back again. Our family had an assortment of food items, recommended by the staff, all made from bison meat. The bison tacos were amazing and the bison nachos received rave reviews from my teenager. My younger child declared the bison burger to be the best he's ever tasted. Would highly recommend for a quick meal in Gardiner. read more

While waiting for the river rafting, we just went 2 doors down to get some quick brunch. The food turned out amazingly tasty, and that affogato (espresso + almond mocha fudge ice cream) was unbelievable genius idea. Late in the season, this is one of the only places open and they did not disappoint. The food is made fresh- we got the bison scramble which was so so good I wish I took a picture, and the traditional breakfast which was also good. They also have variety of coffees and ice cream. The Ukrainian duo that runs it were especially pleasant to talk to. Gift shop also had a bunch of cute stuff. Happy we stopped! read more

We were hungry after coming back from Yellowstone Park on a Friday afternoon. We stopped at Yellowstone Perk. The two employees at Yellowstone Perk were really nice and accommodating. We had some questions about their menu items. They answered them without hesitation. Yellowstone Perk mostly has paninis and sandwiches on their lunch menu. We got a beef panini and my son got a pulled pork sandwich. The panini was just ok. I think I would've liked it more if they didn't put some type of mayonnaise sauce in it. It tasted weird to me. I didn't care for it at all. It had a lot of small chopped onions in it. It was also sour tasting. That right there killed the vibe for me. I should've asked for them not to include it! Idk, I guess I thought it would've been different. I got potato chips and a soda. I ate what I could of the panini. My son didn't really like the pulled pork sandwich. He hardly touched it and I wasn't going to make him eat it. Honestly, it didn't look that appetizing. The sauce mixed in with the pork looked light pink. I'm used to it looking dark brown from the BBQ sauce. All of this was $52 and change. That's pretty expensive! Yellowstone Perk also carries coffee and ice cream. I should've tried them but I didn't! I regret it! If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stop by to try their ice cream and/or coffee. They also offer breakfast. I might also try that. read more

The cashier who I believe is the owner or just has amazing customer service was such a delight. Explained everything well and had such a good energy. Food and drinks came out quickly regardless of them being backed up. I got a wild berry smoothie which tasted delicious along with a sprinkled donut. Both recommended. After visiting Yellowstone we stopped in for some ice cream. The place was busy with all the tables occupied but no problem for us as we planned to eat outside. They have some fun memorabilia to commemorate your trip to Yellowstone. The workers were friendly. Downside they do NOT allow for samples of the ice cream so I was hesitant to order the Huckleberry or Lemon especially for $8 for the "large" bowl. Went with the safe option of strawberry cheesecake.
