Today was my first visit to Yesterday's Galleria and I'm so happy to have found this sweet store. Someone has put a lot of care and intention into organizing the shelves and the items are arranged neatly, enabling you to better see their details. Marcus was very welcoming, answered all of my questions, and I was so excited that they offer a military discount. That's often a determining factor regarding what stores we patronize and how often. Marcus also informed me that they do offer shipping to our area (Sneads Ferry/Holly Ridge). That's a huge PLUS for me! Marcus wrapped my glassware and glass veggies very carefully and I left feeling excited for my next visit. While the prices are not "thrift store" prices, they're reasonable. There's also markdowns according to how long the item has been offered. However, you're taking a chance by waiting for the price to come down. I'll definitely be going back soon! read more

A lot of really junky stuff for sale at high prices in my opinion. Looks like they drive around Jacksonville and pick up discarded furniture sitting on the curb from somebody that's been evicted. There are some finds of course so it's not all bad but in general I'd not recommend wasting your time. In all fairness, I found a metal wine rack that fits perfectly in my unit. I paid two bucks for it. The sales girls were polite at least. You never know what you're going to find in a place like this. I rate it a Zero. We bought a sectioal $935.00 and had it delivered on Friday. We went there on Tuesday (3 days later.. we live a hour away) to see if we could exchange it because it did not fit our livingroom due to the funky shape. The young girl with the pink hair was extremely rude on showing us their policy.. I kept my cool.. from the time we first walked into the place this girl acted like her sh*t didn't stink, well sweetie it does. Work on you customer service! She said the owner said they could buy it back for $150.00.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY FROM THEM. I stopped by to check on a few items they had sitting outside. The prices were not listed on any of the tags. I went into the store, and was not approached by any associates. When I asked the price on an item, the girl gave me an over shoulder answer and turned back to finish her conversation with another associate. Would give 0 stars if possible. Went to buy a Piano from them to turned out to be a great buy....... Roger the owner refuses to talk to me now even though he drove 45 min out of his way to take my almost 2 grand when buying. I will never walk into this place again and would tell everybody I know to stay away. Found a great mattress and thought it was a good deal. The mattress is pure junk. A special order that was supposed to take 1 week delivery turned into 4 and the mattresses we received was not what we ordered. I decided to remove the plastic right away thinking that would be okay. Who wants to sleep on a plastic mattress right. So when we purchased this mattress he (Roger) said it has a full 10 year warranty and all you have to do is stop in. Well, after 3 months I have over 5 inches of sag in the mattress and has more waves in it than the Atlantic. The first excuse they told me was that mattress cannot be returned because the plastic was removed and the second time they told me the company went out of business. Now he tells me that he cannot do anything for me because the company that makes the mattress went out of business even though there are signs hanging all over the place advertising "Park Place" Roger stand by your word and replace your mattress. Or, cut me a break and refund a prorated cost of the mattress. read more

I was looking for a queen headboard and rails. I saw it on FB marketplace and I drove over an hour to get there. The price i saw for what I bought was a bargain but where it went sour for me was I had to take the bed down and load it myself! I took everything to my truck while the young lady (Maria) was at the counter which was fine because she had customers In the store but the headboard was HEAVY and I couldn't hold the door and load it at the same time! Was she the only person working I don't know but my God I was annoyed. Luckily another customer came to hold the door open so I could finish loading it. I just thought the customer service was terrible. So I won't be going back. read more

I saw a set of chairs posted on fb from here that I wanted and asked if they could hold them for me for two hours, since it takes me an hour drive to get to Jacksonville. The lady said she couldn't hold them for me very rudely and then I messaged asking if she would let me know if they sold. So she did not respond and then I drive more than an hour there and a lady at the register said the chairs were sold over an hour ago. Complete waste of time and it was rude the lady did not contact me back simply to tell me not to drive the hour there. read more

So I'm going to rant because I think it's ridiculous. I bought a chair from them and go it home not realizing it would fit where it I wanted it too. So I called and asked them and I had talked to the same people that were in there when I bought the chair. Mind you they were friendly when I bought something but when I asked if I could exchanged and get a different chair and pay the rest of the other chair I wanted they insisted I should have went somewhere else and told me no. This is not about what I purchased here, but my experience. I'm happy with my purchase. Was told to come the next day to pick up because there was no one to help when I purchased. I was fine with transporting it as long as my husband had help loading because I'm 5 months pregnant and can't help. Got there and there was an employee who let us in the back and proceeded to sit on a recliner while drinking his smoothie while he watched my husband move and load everything by himself. While our one year old is hysterically crying in the truck because it's so hot out (our only vehicle that can transport furniture has no AC). Absolute piss POOR service. Having an available employee to help a struggling customer and their family. Supposed to be hearing back from the owners about seeing our used furniture we were planning to sell to them. If we hear from them or speak to them, will update review. But as it stands, I don't care how nice their inventory is, I will not be doing business here again because of their lack of decent customer service. read more

Coming in with the intent to sell our furniture to them, we came across the fact that they sell affordable new mattress sets. We set up a time for the owner to come look at the furniture in order to sell to the store. I had to come home on my lunch break in order to do so and was limited on time. The owner was late, took a quick look and offered me an amount based on if we traded or sold straight out (a higher amount if traded obviously). I would consider the amounts to be fair on both sides. We picked out a new mattress as that's all we were looking for. The young lady in the store, Sam was extremely helpful the entire time but I cannot say the same for the owner. Since we were only purchasing the new mattress there was a difference in the amount owed to us versus what we had spent in store. It was extremely difficult to get the additional money left over after all was said and done, I think we spoke with Sam 6-7 times as she went back and forth with the owner for us. Again, she was very helpful and the staff that were in store were polite, attentive and more than willing to help where they could. At one point I asked if I could speak with the owner directly and he wouldn't even speak to me. I find that to be bad business, when he made the original deal with me and wouldn't honor it or speak to me about it. He made someone else speak to me, which is bad customer service. We were also told the drivers would be there between 1 and 2 to deliver our mattress and pick up the sold furniture. After 3 more calls they finally arrive at 4:30. Overall I found the experience to be unacceptable and wish I would have take my business elsewhere. read more
