Don't get me wrong, Michael is super friendly and very accommodating, my complaint is the end result of a $20K+ job. Evidently poor quality barrier was used as a ton of weeds grew back through every square foot of a rocked driveway, mulched front yard, paved patio and even a concrete driveway. We are pulling weeds on a daily basis everywhere they touched, every square inch, pictures are nicer than what it really looks like. I wish I had known about the sub par quality components used including bad mulch, or I would have paid for the professional industrial quality grade barrier myself, lesson learned, and expensive one at best. Nice guy with a friendly crew otherwise, but that's not what I paid for. In response to owner's response. Michael, I don't know how you could possibly be shocked, I have no reason lie about simple facts. I am shocked by your reply however. You never once told us anything about adding any material to the patio as you were hired to do the job from START TO FINISH as contracted, in fact, your guys did spread the polymeric sand over the patio but you were hardly there at all during the entire 3 weeks, end result is the mulch, concrete slabs, and rock driveway, all of which are infested with growth from using a very poor quality barrier that we were never informed of since we left you to do the "professional" work we hired you for. I am by no means an expert but my mistake was to trust you to do it right, the pictures are only a few days after you left and got the final payment. That should never happen if using the proper plastic barriers that can last up to 40 years, not the Home Depot cheap see through fabric that lasts 4 days (I did my research, although too late). As for the septic tank issue, I hired the company, not you, and that had nothing to do with your sub par work albeit very coincidental, but that is a completely different animal, which will all get corrected as well, as I am left with a huge mess that I paid a lot for, hence your well deserved and honest review.

Encompass Enclosures was hired by me in May of 2021 to extend the lanai on my residence at 30…read moreAuberry Dr, Palm Coast, Fl After only 17 months, I noticed two cracks in the cement floor which run the length of the concrete that was laid down by Encompass Enclosure subcontractor. I notified Jeff Knapp of the situation a month ago. He asked me to send photos, which I did and have not heard back from him at all. From the very beginning of this project Jeff has shown an unprofessional attitude toward my project. He thought it was not necessary to come and view the site where the lanai was to be extended. This decision cost the project 3 weeks when the equipment arrived months later and found they could not get to the site because the equipment was too big and the access too small. He gave me a completion date of October. At the end of December the project was completed. One week before I returned with my family. He did not even meet the time frame. After the job was completed and we had the first big rain, my new lanai flooded because there were no weep holes. When I called him to come over, he tried to say it was my fault because I had the floor painted. He tried to say he would not take responsibility if he drilled the weep holes. Now the concrete slab is cracked after only 17 months and he is showing the same indifference that he always shows. He had an attitude when I asked for the garbage left by his workers be removed. There were boards with nails sticking out. It took days before someone came. I paid $9,000 for this job which may be chump change to Jeff but I am a widow and this project was so that my family could come and enjoy their visits. I asked Jeff Knapp to give me the name of the construction company and I would deal with them directly but he has ignored my request. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will also contact the Chamber of Commerce and will post a complaint on every site I can find. Dealing with this company is the worst. Every time I hear him on the radio I turn him off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

We appreciated his time and expertise and he did not charge us for coming out. I bought 15 Viburnums from John last year and they are doing wonderful!
