Very disappointed, never returning…read more We loved this restaurant once, and now that it has changed hands, it is clear that the quality had gone downhill dramatically just to be cheap. We offered the same dishes as always and were shocked at the changes. We called to ask if we had been given the wrong order by mistake, but apparently the new owners think it okay to replace a traditional recipe with a cheap, gross version and hike up the prices at the same time. I ordered Char Kaoy Tao and what I got was some rice noodles, spongy beef, carrots and onion. WHAT!? You can google image search a thousand pictures of this dish and not once will you see CARROT!! It's chicken, pork, Chinese sausage, egg, prawns, mung bean shoots and garlic chives - none of which were in my meal. I looked at the new menu and was alarmed to see "beef and shrimp" as the description. Not only is that completely wrong but there was NOT ONE SHRIMP in it either. And it tasted bad, I couldn't even eat one bite of the tough, yet spongy beef. The special fried rice was a disgrace too. It was pure white, like not fried at all and maybe 2% of it was other ingredients, a few sad looking bits and pieces. It was CHEAP QUALITY and a TOTAL RIP OFF. Now checking the old menu against the new one, the prices have increased too, so less quality for higher prices. We requested a refund, as it's false advertising to call Beef and (zero) shrimp after an actually delicious traditional Malaysia dish. We spoke to the manager but they didn't want to help so basically, we didn't get a refund and WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. Shame on you for ruining a good restaurant just to BE CHEAP.
