All…read moreI was looking for was a place to work out having gone to gyms in the past. it has plenty of equipment so it is possible to almost always get on the machine or free weights you want to use. I could not see any real advantage for justify the cost of a black card membership so just stuck with lower monthly. Costwise the sales pitch is a bit disingenuous as you also pay a registration fee and annual membership fee in addition to your monthly fee. As is typical of gyms, on the machines that have pads for arms, the arms are torn and need refurbishing and some of the machines are out of commission for long periods of time. Sanitation stations are occasionally out of paper towels. Clientee is just like every other gym. No real enforcement of clothing, phone talkers, etc. If you are a snowflake, you might be occasionally offended, but if you are normal, you will have no problem. Staffers are all young so I did not expect any kind of policy enforcement and hey, members might quit! The thing I find the most bothersome is the 30 mintue express stations are almost impossible to use in order much of the time as members will randomly jump on a station and at times tie it up for prolonged periods of time while talking on their phone. All in all if they would keep their music turned down so I can hear my earbuds and if those hurricane force ceiling fans were dialed back a bit, I would be content. It's a gym!!

That was not true. After several emails back and forth trying to schedule something only to be told they were either already booked for that time or couldn't at my other availiabilities, I hired my own personal trainer only to be told I couldn't do that. You have to use their trainers or none at all. My advice would be to tell the truth at the time of joining or allow personal trainers in to do the job you're unable (or unwilling) to do.

My daughter was not happy there and I felt uncomfortable leaving her there. On occasion my husband would hear a teacher in an adjacent room scream at a toddler "this is what you get for standing near the door" when a child was hit by the door. When you walk in a room an overwhelming smell of poo hits you, because they put diapers in a huge trash can near the door without a lid. Teachers seem less than enthusiastic and unfriendly at times. My daughter was constantly hit "by a friend" and frequently when we picked her up, we found her crying. After 3 months, we took our child out of there. You might like this place for the sliding scale, long hours and the fact that they provide all the meals.
