        Yoga Village est le fruit d'un voyage commencé il y a 2 ans, ou Laurent Commergnat a découvert le yoga en Asie; Shanghai, Rishikesh, Bali, la Thailande puis le Mexique, le Guatemala, puis les USA. Entre les classes, avec vue sur de vertes rizières, celles dans le froid Himalayen ou sous le soleil Californien, à Broadway ou Ko PhaNgan, que d'émotions et de rencontres, que Yoga Village cherche maintenant à faire partager au cœur de Paris grâce à la qualité de ses professeurs, son studio lumineux et beaucoup de bonne humeur, pour que l'aventure continue !

I'm visiting Paris for a month, and was looking for someplace to work out the kinks from the long trip and jet lag. I'm so glad I came upon this little yoga studio. The instructors are bilingual so the class happens in a mix of French and English, if there is anyone in the room who needs English. They are very knowledgeable and really dedicated to making sure you get the most out of your practice, taking the time and making the effort to help you get into the postures correctly and gently encouraging you to take it up a notch if you can. In the classes I attended, there were some "regulars" who were senior citizens managing to do things with their body that I certainly can't do, and I'm relatively fit. I wish I lived here so that I could pursue my practice at this studio.

Technical staffs expertise was unmatched, and security kept us all safe, while also keeping us out of the elevators. Sanitary and coat reception teams could have done better, as the toilets constantly ran out of paper towels, and 15 minutes of lunch was wasted waiting for a coat.       Overall a decent experience @ Piscine Champerret. What really stood out positively was the…read morefriendliness of the Staff. From the woman at the entrance to the lifeguards or the guy cleaning the changing-rooms - everyone was really friendly and relaxed. If that was the only criteria to judge a swimming-pool, Piscine Champerret would score 5/5. The Pool itself is very suffused with light thanks to windows all round and in the ceiling. It was also quite clean when I was there 2 hours after they first opened that day. There are two basins, a 25 Meter basin for swimming and a smaller, shallow basin with a short water-slide for children. While the basins themselves seem to be in good shape, the lane dividers aren´t. They are falling apart and in some areas cannot really do their "job" anymore. Other Negatives? The swimming lanes could (or IMO should) be assigned to certain swimming styles or speeds. Changing cabins are a bit small and the whole Building could really do with a big renovation. They seem to be doing a decent job at maintenance (no rust, no mold), but the building`s age is showing everywhere. Especially the showers are very uninviting. Would be a shame to see this pool slip further and I hope it will get renovated sometime soon.
