I heard how she dealt with them and she was so friendly and knowledgeable and just listened to what they were looking for. The customers were really happy and enjoying the shopping experience. This shop is cute and full of items for everyone. I love gem stones and books and they had plenty. Definitely a stop you need to take. So many beautiful items in a charming town.

It also has a visitor center that will provide information if you don't know your way around the area. It is a nice place to stop for supplies, food or gifts. Unfortunately, the power went out while we were here and all of the stores had to temporarily close up. But it is a nice place to stop while in the park if you need anything.

There was also a rock store with some fossils and jewelry. The mall is run by the local tribe, so at least you know you aren't supporting some faceless conglomerate. And a lot of the items sold at the stores were by locals, which I think is more unique. There was also a post office, a liquor store, a grocery store, a boba cafe (of all things), and a normal cafe. Behind the cafe are some picnic tables you can sit at. There were also a lot of tour buses coming in. If you aren't on one of these buses, be prepared for the crowds. If you're on one of these buses, I hope this isn't your final stop - I hope you have a stop at Lake Louise. I didn't really understand the effort of the tour bus groups to take photos of the river by the parking lot. Or of the parking lot. There will be better photo opportunities, I promise.

Hesitated because of the $79.99 price, asked if that was sales price, was told yes. I ended up buying it and was excited to have it. Just a little while later, I saw the exact same book - in a mostly clothing shop probably 100 feet away for $49.99. I went back to this shop and asked if they would match that price, was told no, then said I wanted to return it, they said no returns. Shop owner said he sold things for what they are worth and couldn't help it if someone else didn't. Shop owner got the price he wanted but I told him he stole the excitement I had buying the book from me. I will never look at the book without feeling I was taken.

I was able to purchase all my groceries for cooking including meat too, and grab all my essentials that weren't available in my Condo in just one stop! This store was truly a life saver, the wide variety of supplies available is perfect and beyond more than what you'll need! Thank you to the helpful staff for assisting me with my purchases and even recommending great bottles of wine for my friends and I to enjoy. Be sure to inquire about the delivery service too. The store is well-organized and well-stocked (they even had fidget spinners). Everything in the store is also very reasonably priced. Good place to stop by when you're in Golden! The two ladies working were not only incredibly helpful, they were incredibly funny and incredibly pleasant. We were immediately directed to the large selection of wrapping paper and shown where the various colours and "wedding" styles were. "Which of the 2 weddings are you going to?" our helpful attendant queried. I informed her that we were on our way to Chris and Jacinta's. "Ahh, I'll see you there later! I wrapped my gift in purple and yellow." Clearly, Golden is a small town and she exhibited that she knew Chris well. Jessica and I selected an appropriate "wedding" paper, located scissors and tape easily and inquired about wedding cards. The other lady pointed us in the right direction and helpfully informed us, "Just don't get the one that says, 'God bless your marriage.' A couple people got that one already." Ha! Brilliant. After confirming that no one else had yet bought the same wrapping paper that we selected, we paid for our extremely reasonably priced purchase and made our way to the ceremony.
