Just stopped in for an evening drink while waiting for our pizza to bake across the street. It was relatively quiet for 8 pm. The bartender took our drink order as soon as we walked in. Yorky's is a 24 hour pub serving alalcohol and food and you must be 21 to enter. There were video poker and gaming machines around part of the bar. No comfy lounge chairs just high bar stools. I was a nice place.

I've been coming here for quite a long time. This is the type of place where the patrons know each other and it feels like home. Brian is great. He truly takes care of people who patronize his bar. It's not often I can go to a place and have a kind-hearted guy like him have a conversation & make me feel welcome and make me feel good about patronizing his establishment. It's not fancy, it's your local neighborhood friendly place to hang out Don't tell anyone, but the food is pretty good too! :)

I've seen a couple reviews saying this is a dark & seedy bar vibe... but I was kind of curious about what they're all about one morning for brunch. I didn't find anything seedy about the inside. In fact, I liked the circular small vibe- the space is basically one room with a large wooden bar centered around the middle. I can see why people get the "cheers" vibe. I was surprised that it wasn't smoky, I warned my hubby that it might be smoky- nope, and actually really wasn't overwhelmingly smelling of smoke TBH. We came in to try their wonderfully priced brunches because we were sans our little guy, and to have a little day date in a bar that normally we wouldn't do (no one under 21). Ordered the biscuits 'n gravy, over medium eggs and the fella ordered the steak 'n eggs, medium on steak and eggs. Having been on a biscuits & gravy kick lately- these were better than the last 3 restaurants I've eaten at; there were good sized pieces of tasty sausage in the gravy and it was just right - not too thick, not too thin, sauce not broken. Eggs cooked perfect, biscuits were good. The steak was over-cooked, because it was thin cut- but the potatoes, eggs and the flavor of the steak were all good and plenty to fill up on. Our server was attentive and took care of anything we needed- she checked in and was on top of drinks or refills (I had a mimosa that was just fine) and I won a little money on video poker - it's my first time in 2017 playing- my partner and I played together, so that was fun. We had a decent breakfast under 20 bucks, and an entertaining time, too! BTW... they have ROOT BEER on tap, and after learning that they are affiliated with Ellis Island in town- it's probably home brewed and really good. Gotta wait 'til next time to find out.

Great burger! My tots didn't come with maple cinnamon dip like another photo!

I'm sticking with 5 stars…read more The Irish nachos are still great. The beer and cheese dip appetizer with "country" breads is terrific. You could easily make a meal out of the appetizers. The NFI burger is not huge but it is still very, very good. The Kilkenny beer is also still excellent and they even make a mean Snakebite, although, oddly, it is not on the drink menu. Ask for it anyway.

Our experience has solely to do with the hostesses at the front. We had reservations for 1:45, but had arrived early and so was added to the waitlist. She was very rude and said it would be an hour, which was still before our reservation so we were ok with that. We ended up waiting 90 minutes with no word from her and it was close to our original reservation so we headed back over. This time she was even ruder. She said that no one was leaving and that we would not be able to get in today at all. I asked her about my reservation and she said that the reservation didn't matter, we would not be able to get in at all. She was mad that we even asked. I did question why they were taking reservations if they were not honoring them and why did she have us wait (almost two hours by now) if she had no intention of ever seating us. She was angry and said no one was leaving and there were no table available. You could see tables but it appeared there just wasn't enough staff to handle the crowd. We left and headed to one of our favorite dining places as we were starving by now and very disappointed because we were really looking forward to dining at this establishment. Shortly after we arrived at Humo's, I received a text message that our table was ready and to head in. This was about 20 minutes after our conversation with the hostess. I am greatly disappointed that we were not able to try their food, but the customer service was so incredibly bad we would never recommend this place. Two hours for nothing was a huge waste of time. Just be honest and shut down reservations. Incidentally, my husband also received a text shortly after mine saying his table was also ready (his name was on the waitlist for the hour).

My friend and I ordered off of their specials menu and got a French Onion burger. It was so good and we were so glad we ordered it! I liked their deep friend pickles as well but I wish they were more crunchy. Beers were so good too! Ordered a flight and our favorite was the Chantilly Vanilla Cream Ale. Loved it so much I ordered a 16oz draft after I finished my flight. Our server was super friendly and nice. I wish I got her name but she constantly checked up on us and was the one who suggested the burgers for us. Ambiance was great! They have a lot of TVs and the vibes were great. They have indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. Great place to have dinner and to just hangout. Looking forward to coming here again!

They have about 15-20 of their own brews. We got a flight (four 5oz pours) to try a good variety. My favorite was the Annulment Ale, the others I tried were meh. The food is where LVBC shines. Typical American food, with a focus on smash burgers. I tried the Smashy Burger. Price is great, only $12 for the burger and house chips. Food took a while to come out for the place not being busy. However, the burger was excellent. Overall, I was disappointed in the vibes and atmosphere compared to other breweries. The beers we tried were just okay, but the burger was really good, which has me torn on this review. Thus, 3 stars seems appropriate.

I've heard of and have gone to many of the Flowing Tide locations in Northern Nevada, mostly Reno,…read moreso I decided to come here to this location with a work friend for lunch. We both had fish and chips on our brains, and I know Flowing Tide in the north has yummy fish and chips, so I was hoping this Vegas location would too. The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations.

The Laundry Room is a cool, intimate speakeasy located within downtown LV. Only 16 people are…read moreallowed in at one time, you need a reservation, and there's a dress code. We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
