I was gifted Spa Finder gift cards for my birthday and I looked on the website for spas in the area that accepted them and You Day Spa was on there and had great reviews. Also a big factor was the fact that it was one of the only few places that was not charging $200+ facials. I had told her my concerns and asked for tips on what I need for a skincare regimen which she told me. I also was unsure of my skin type prior and confirmed my type. I had booked the 90 minute Relax and Renew facial. This was hands down the most AMAZING facial I have ever had. I was soooo relaxed and took the best nap later that day. The service included a custom facial, high frequency, extractions, a WONDERFUL décolletage, arm, neck massage, as well as a foot scrub and foot massage as well. I was so happy and rejuvenated My skin was absolutely glowing all day!!! Trish was amazing and even though this was a gift, I will definitely be back to see her!!! Finally, a post-Covid facial! What an outstanding experience I had today at the new location of You Day Spa in Santa Rosa. A full hour of attention and relaxation along with a Hydrogel mask that sent me into nirvana. The owner, Trish, has an amazing touch, and as my face was soaking in the goodness of her choice products, she massaged my neck and shoulders. I almost fell asleep. Ahhh. The waiting area is beautifully decorated -- inviting and friendly. Everything is super clean and pristine,yet homey and comfortable. I've been to You. Day Spa twice now. The first time I got a 30 minute facial by Hayley. She was so kind, gentle and relaxing. I quickly realized that, while a 30 minute facial is great, it was not nearly enough time! I left feeling so relaxed and pampered that I knew I needed to quickly treat myself to a longer facial in the future. My second experience was a bikini wax with the owner, Trish. If you're like me, this is the worst part of being summer ready and easily something that makes my palms sweat at just the thought. She was so warm and welcoming that you felt very little discomfort of having your girly bits out in the open. This was by far the least painful and clean wax I've ever received. Lovely environment and the staff - massage and esthetician were both sweet and considerate The hour Swedish massage was just ok but I could have used more pressure and deeper work but despite my requests that didn't happen. My wife who has very sensitiveskin came away from her facial feeling similarly not impressed but developed bumps and stinging sensations the very next day. Thankfully They passed in the next few days but we won't return to the You day spa I would have liked to pass on my comments on to management but I'm not able to find any listing for management or owners. Let me just start off by saying this spa has the most relaxing atmosphere right when you walk in! With their calming music and diffusers it's extremely serene. This past Sunday I woke up with a terrible pain in my lower back. I was looking for massage therapy that would help me feel better and ultimately put me on the road to recovery for this lower back pain. I walked in on Sunday at around noon and I asked if they had anybody who specialized in this sort of thing. I was directed to Taylor who specialized in neuromuscular therapy. Taylor came in and was able to really narrow down what my problem areas were and began treating them through massage. An hour later the treatment was over and I was feeling some significant relief, this was exactly what I was looking for and I was very impressed by his knowledge and genuine willingness to help. Much to my delight I was able to schedule a facial and a massage at the top of the hour. Overall what stands out is the service! The lady who booked my appt and both my technicians were friendly, service oriented and pros! Hailee delivered a super relaxing facial - just as I requested. Her light fingertips delivered a delightful facial and the shoulder and arm massage was heavenly. Taylor has such a distinct style massage and he is very knowledgeable about body work. Hayley is amazing!! I absolutely love love going to her for facials. She has helped me clear up my skin as well as to fade the redness that was leftover on my cheeks and jawline. I love this little spa - I discovered it by accident when I needed a lip/chin wax pronto. I went to Trish today for the first time after finding her on yelp. She was the only top-rated waxer that had an online booking system, which is mandatory for me. I am super picky when it comes to waxing, but even the best waxers I've been to leave at least one hair missed- not Trish. This was THE MOST THOROUGH wax I've ever had. This spa is very much worth your money. I come here for waxing and have found it much more relaxing than other spas. I have been to places that feel like a doctors office and you have to stare up at bright fluorescent lights and lay on a table lined with paper. The experience at this spa is much different. They always have warm and clean sheets and blankets on their tables and use proper lighting and scents. I started out going to see Trish for an affordable wax close to home. She did a very nice job and really took interest in my skin and overall well-being. Since then I've seen her once a month or so until recently when I injured my shoulder. I was in so much pain. Trish was booked up so she booked me with Camille for a deep tissue massage right away. I came in for a massage because my sister and mom raved about You Day Spa and I had a gift certificate so thought why not. I booked an hour massage with Trish on 1/31/2020 for 10:00AM and had a facial scheduled at noon at another salon in Santa Rosa. I walked into the You Day Spa at 9:50AM, made a coffee and sat down for ~10 minutes playing on my phone and scrolling through feeds. The atmosphere was very nice, super cozy, lots of tea choices or keurig for coffee. It smells amazing and the decor was on point. Trish comes out of her previous massage at 10:10am and tells me I need to fill out a new client form, which I understand but it would have been a better client experience for it to have been sitting at the counter when I walked in so I did not take more of my massage time to fill it out being that we were already 10 minutes past the "start" time and I was not even in a room yet. We go into one of the massage rooms and it is clean, not too dark and she asks me to remove my clothes and hop under the sheet and that she will be right back in. Keep in mind if you have had a massage it does not take terribly long to undress and hop under the sheet. So here I am, waiting, naked, under this cover for another solid 10 minutes. As I am sitting there I can hear her running around, starting laundry, greeting another co-worker and not once has she acknowledged the time. She knocks on the door and comes in and asks if I am ready and I asked how long will the massage be and when will it be over because I did have a noon appointment in Santa Rosa that I do not want to be late for. She looked a little taken back and said it would be the full hour massage and I should be out at 11:30am and hoped that would give me enough time. We started at 10:30am and I was done at 11:30am. I felt rushed putting my clothes back on and honestly annoyed that I (the new client that had never been there before) had to address timing and ensure I would get the full hour I had requested as well as be out at a reasonable time so I would not make another salon late due to her lack of time management. The massage was okay but I felt awkward having to ask when we would be starting and why it took 30 minutes to get into a room for a set massage appointment. The whole experience left a really poor taste in my mouth. I was not able to relax because I was thinking of how I may be late to my next appointment and this was exactly why I gave myself an hour to go from Petaluma to Santa Rosa so I would not feel rushed after a relaxing massage but that was just not the case. I would never go back there and pay for that service nor would I refer anyone to You Day Spa for a massage by Trish. Perhaps I met her on a hectic day but if it was so out of her regular character to be running 30 minutes late she should have addressed it when she saw me sitting in the waiting room at 10:10am which is why I have concluded that being 10-30 minutes behind is how she is every time you get a massage from her and that is not professional. Again, great atmosphere and I am happy other people have had great experiences here but I am not one of them. read more

Was looking forward to an amazing massage on my vacation and was sadly disappointed. I had Danielle as a therapist and she was nice enough and asked me how much pressure. However, I have had a ton of massages in my life and know a good massage therapist from someone who may not be as trained or know what they are doing. She could have just been having an off day, but I don't think that was the case. Personally, I like a massage therapist that knows exactly where my muscles are and they work on my muscles rather than just rubbing around on my body, hoping it feels good. I kept waiting for her to find a muscle but it didn't seem to happen. I was sadly disappointed. When I come back to Petaluma, I may try them again and try a different massage therapist. read more
