Smile, laugh, play, crawl, toyota jump, leap, hug, fall, .. No I am not rambling words. Those were some of the cues given to us by the photographer at You Studios. Sounds crazy, I know! If you have never had a professional photograph taken, I highly recommend You Studios at Balmain. It is a two step process. First you visit their studio and go nuts, have a great time! Do silly things or random things you would never have done before. I chose to get a couples photo and portrait photo taken. Then sit back and wait for the call. I was then invited back to review the photos and relive the moments again. It's amazing how they capture so many emotions in an hour. You can pick your favourite pictures and select the ones you want enlarged. I loved their perspex medium, but it was a bit expensive, so settled for a framed picture to take home. A great experience and cannot wait to try it again. read more

Our overall experience with this business was hopeless. However unfortunately you can not recreate photos with an infant, so we were required to keep dealing with this business even when it was clear that incompetence seemed to be present at almost every step of the way. Some examples: - When we paid for the order of prints with various retouches they requested and were given over two months to have the order ready. Nearly three months later when they advised that the order was ready the photos had not been retouched as agreed at all. Despite agreeing to e-mail the photos for approval prior to printing, this was not done. Later they e-mailed the old photos as if they were the retouched ones. When I arrived to collect the order they only had some of the photos printed and had left most of the photos off the USB. The worst though was Jess who decided that it was okay to use an offensive phrase to describe a customer ringing to check about the order. Unfortunately even when you involve the owner Brendan to try to resolve the matter it does not seem to improve the situation very much. read more

You studios captured candid, poignant expressions in me nd my guests, which will frvr allow me t rliv the memories of those precious moments.
