I paid THOUSANDS of dollars to Improve my driving skills. I went to my in-class class today and I was given the wrong address. Not even that, they wouldn't answer ANY of the contact information I was given. So, Young Driver of Canada if your reading this, maybe give your costumers the CORRECT ADDRESS!! And as for other people I DO NOT recommend. Also just an add on, maybe fix all the typing mistakes that are on you online modules if your going to make your costumers pay so much! read more

Thunderously Mundane. Where I found it (relatively) easy to book (& pay for) a Driving School Road Test Pack C online, seems I can't do anything else with this place via their website. I had to endure the displeasure of interacting with them by phone. (By the way, in 2022, if you have an online presence for taking payment & offering 'packages', your customer should be able to book a lesson online as this is your core business, is it not?) After being on hold for over 30 minutes & re-directed once rudely for being put through to wrong department (obviously my fault), I observed the most appalling model of de-centralized chaos I have ever encountered in my effort to schedule my son's lessons. I am frankly horrified that I get through to 'scheduling' but still have to wait for an instructor to contact me directly via email & have no insight into what's available time-wise for them, so I remain uncertain as to the actual function of the 'scheduling' department, or what's behind their ridiculous wait times. Also, booked this pack as they handle the ICBC road test, but seems I have to manually do that via email and a follow-up phone call. Oh happy day. I can't face that until my blood pressure normalizes from my scheduling experience) Very disappointed but will see how lessons go. With rude telephone staff that seem to have no customer service training (or disposition for being in the field), who 'schedule' but don't actually seem to have access to an actual schedule or understand the concept, I'm not feeling super hopeful with YDoC but let's see how the actual driving training goes. . read more

Worst company to deal with. My daughter did her online classes and then was told she would be contacted within two weeks to book her in car lessons. No one contacted so I phoned and waited an hour on the phone to contact somebody only to be rerouted to an answering service. Left message. No one called back. Called again and waited another hour, Got another answering service, no one returned my message. Phoned again, finally got a hold of somebody and said I would be contacted within 48 hours. No one contacted me. Finally after multiple calls and waiting hours on hold I finally got a hold of somebody to book an entire lesson. Worst customer service ever. I wish I went somewhere else. read more

Very disappointed with my experience at young drivers of Canada (mostly with respect to customer service). My child was taking lessons with and she had to cancel a lesson and we were not informed of their cancellation policy with a 60.00 fee. I was never contacted in any way to be notified of this. Upon trying to book another lesson they said I couldn't book one until I paid the late fee, which is when I found out it's 60.00 which I find a little exorbinant (but that's besides the point) I agreed to pay the fee and asked that it just be deducted from the existing credit I had with them from all the pre-paid lessons. They would not take the fee from the existing credit I have with them. The manager could not explain any rational for this process so I paid the fee, and decided to take my business elsewhere since my daughter was not impressed with the driving lessons either. The less than courteous manager said he would put in a "request" for a refund? So, I guess I'll just wait and see if I "qualify" for a refund of the balance of the money that I had already paid them minus the two lessons my daughter had. On top of all of this the manager I spoke with had poor phone and customer service skills was rude and dismissive. Young drivers = bad customer service, a money grab. read more

I had a terrible experience with my driving lessons. My instructor was Sabine, she would constantly raise her voice which would stress me out making me freeze up and almost forget what I was doing. This was constant throughout the lessons which by the end of the second lesson made me loath my next experience with her. By the end of every lesson it was always a negative experience even during one of my lessons she asked if I was on drugs which I found very disrespectful. I understand I need to learn what mistakes I am making and how to fix them but when teaching someone something you need to understand that they will mistakes and should be patient and allow them to make mistakes without raising you voice and getting frustrated at your student. I understand if I was endangering a life or about to cause a car accident but when i'm learning something like to reverse park in a empty parking lot you should not yell at me and stress me out when i make a mistake but give me the ability to learn from my mistakes. Overall I would not recommend this driving school. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! I signed up and paid for 3 lessons. After the first lesson, the instructor canceled last minute and ignored my texts to reschedule. When I called the office, I was treated as though I was lying about having had my second lesson. After months of trying to resolve the situation, I finally received a refund. However, the refund was not for the full amount of the 2 pro-rated lessons I did not take. I would never recommend this driving school! read more
