Jesse was fantastic! We hired him as our electrician for a full remodel - done by the Amish- where we needed all new kitchen circuits, all new lighting, hood vent and appliance connections, all new outlets in basement, all new thermostats, a whole new sub-panel installed, etc. not only was Jesse friendly and SUPER knowledgeable - but he was greatly accommodating over the 8 weeks we worked together. Safe and sound. Those 3 words succinctly summarize working with Jesse and Young Electric. I've now had two opportunities with him at my house, and if I didn't feel more confident after upgrading my very old panel, certainly after a more urgent issue outside my original scope. I wanted an electrician here at this house as soon as I could, simply to have an electricians seal of approval. Inspections are great but they're no substitute for an electrician. Jesse is incredibly smart, very determined, with a fantastic demeanor. The best combination for someone you're putting so much trust in. Finding anyone with a good work ethic that will go above and beyond is sadly hard to find. I had so many upgrades that I needed (and wanted), but he never made me feel like these were menial tasks or that he didn't have time for them. And things that made me nervous like a loose line off my barn, he helped assess and fix. Peace of mind, absolutely. He put in venting for a dryer that didn't exist, and even helped me level the existing washer after I thought it sounded noisy. While I should have thought of that, I guess I assumed too much from the last owner that it was done properly. But Jesse knew! Truly, I think Jesse feels he can walk away after knowing he set everything better than he started. That's certainly the case now that everything is done. He's so knowledgeable in so many areas outside of his electrical expertise. After asking him about his background, I realized he has such a varied work experience; from commercial spaces, new residential homes, and old homes like my mine where you really have to be a detective. I really can't express how grateful I am to Jesse, and also to past reviewers that recommended him so highly. His work improved basic functionality, and at best, set me up for the future: solar panels, hybrid car, kilns and anything else I want or need to do to this little old farmhouse.
