DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING TO BE ENGRAVED!!!!!!!!I left an heirloom ring that belonged to my aunt that named me & helped raise me. Left the ring w Iris Young & the owner, her mother. They were both told what I wanted,, the appearance of the engraving & gave me the price. Just picked up the ring & they have ruined an irreplaceable cherished ring. Neither the mother or daughter was anywhere around. The young lady informed me that she couldn't replicate my aunt's initial because it was done w a laser. I've been doing business with Young Jewelers for over 40 years. From gifts to repairs, and from life's big moments to helping me find little ways of just saying thank you to a valued friend, they have always been the perfect example of what people oriented service is all about. Mr. And Mrs. Young built their business by building relationships with their customers who always became more like family. This way of treating customers as friends and family, I'm happy to say, continues today with their daughter. The Young Jewelers staff exceeds expectations! The owner, Debbie Young Sanders is extremely knowledgable and informative about diamonds. She helped me carefully pick the perfect stone and mounting for my wife. Their in-house jeweler helped design another ring for her. It is stunning. Meet the Business Owner: Debbie Young S.

Debbie's father, Hoyt Young, started Young Jewelers in 1948. In 1976, Debbie, after graduating from the University of Alabama, joined Young Jewelers! Debbie is a member of Jewelers of America, Alabama Jewelers Association, AJTA Advisory Board, Certified Jewelry Professional, and is a Gemological Institute of America Alumni. Debbie has strong roots in the community as she is the Past President of the Jasper Business and Professional Women, DHR Board of Directors, First Bank of Jasper Board of Directors, Past President of United Methodist Women, Past Chairman of the Board of First United Methodist Women, President of the Downtown Merchants Association, and served as the Vice President of the University of Alabama Alumni Association.
