From our engagement photos to our entire wedding, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Yourik Studios this past May 12. Yourik, the owner, came highly recommened, not to mention on opposite coasts. We wanted the best of the best and went to Los Angeles for our Engagement session to see for ourselves! So cliche, but seeing is really believing! Prior to our arrangement, I spoke with Yourik multiple times in great detail, it was the first time we had a photo shoot, and prior to our meeting we were a little nervous which is a given in this situation. However, when we met Yourik, Gevik, and Hamlet our chemistry was undeniahble and they are extremely talented. We planned to do multiple settings and themes, but there are only so many hours in a day. We had two days of photography and videography in multiple popular and secluded areas of Los Angeles! It was a blast, and could not stop laughing and smiling throughout the experience. With this preview, we couldn't wait till May! Some couples think engagement shoots are a waste of time and has no use at all. Well, think twice, you will regret it later. Also, we can't emphasize more on the importance of 'letting go' during the shoot. They were all great and really helped eliminate our timidity in front of the camera , and we were able to see each persons various photography and videography styles. When Yourik, Gevik, and Hamelt arrived in DC, they provided our engagement photo album and all of our images captured. The album was so beautiful and professional incorporating different photographs including many silhouette, candid and glamorous moments, we felt like we were in California again. All three combined various styles including cinematic, traditional, artistic, and Indigenous/ beach. We love the beach and would travel any opportunity we had, so it was like deja vu, they took us back 10 years to memory lane and brought our story alive through their photos, drone, and many candid photos, which is a very difficult task! The Album- we were all speechless when we saw our album; being that we had spread out the shoot two days incorporating different settings, time, and location, the pictures we were presented had iconic places as backdrops and were very surreal. They took creativity to a whole nother level which added glamour and sophistication ! For our wedding, Yourik and his team arrived at our bridal suite capturing various things including the beautiful romantic room our Planner Shamci and Youriks team created of my dress , my husband and his groomsmen getting ready, bridemaids and me getting ready, and dancing leading up to getting this party started. We proceeded to the Armenian Church to make it official where they captured so many beautiful images of the ceremony, guests, and family pictures. Following the Armenian ceremony, we returned back to the hotel to continues with the traditional sitting of the Persian Sofreh Aghad and reception. They were constantly by our side moving and captured EVERYTHING from all the tears, dancing and energy till the early morning hours! We were so pleased with our pictures and can't wait to see our video! My family and I can't thank them enough for capturing the priceless images and memories that they did! I feel horrible for writing negative review. But if you have a special event I highly recommend NOT GOING THROUGH WHAT I Did..By far the worst EVER!! I'm so sad after a year of planning and I got the worst pictures and video... We had rented out a beautiful vineyard in Malibu and he did not leave one location. Yourik went above and beyond our expectations. I cant say how satisfied we are with all his service. Me and my husband were very stressed on our wedding day but Yourik's good behavior and sense of humor made us laugh the whole time which was really helpful. Thank you so much Yourik Studio for doing such amazing job on my daughters Baptism photo's and blueray DVD. Your such a kind, nice and patient man. My daughter ended up sick on her baptism and was very fussy and didn't want to take pics on her special day. So Yourik was so kind and told me not to worry about it, he told me I can dress my daughter up another day in her baptism dress and take her to the park for a free photo shoot so she can have nice pictures in her album and video. When we went to the park i thought her was going to take a few pics and get it over with but he took him time, he took like 200 pics of her, he was so nice. He was trying to be funny so she would smile and give different poses. He gave me a beautiful acrylic album in a fancy professional box and a high quality blu ray dvd. He did very nice special effects onto the dvd with images of the Chuch from high above. He's amazing. His prices are amazing too. Below is a brief description of my amazing experience with Yourik's Studio. Pre-Wedding From day one Yourik's Studio had been super helpful with all aspects of my wedding. I know that they are a photography studio, but they sat down with me and explained in detail what needs to be done and what to expect on the big day. I constantly found myself seeking their advice about my venue and church and time coordination. The best thing was that I felt that they did not mind helping me out with everything; they really went above and beyond what I expected. I felt like they were more of a wedding consultant. I'm Armenian, so our weddings are very long and a lot of planning goes into, so having Yourik's Studio there really took a lot of the stress off my shoulders. The Wedding Day - June 2015 On the day of Yourik's Studio arrived at my house ready to go. They walked in, did their set-up and started shooting. What was great was that they had two crews: one at my house and one at the groom's house. This really helped economize our time. I hate, and I do mean hate taking pictures. Yourik's Studio really worked with me on this. Throughout the wedding they took pictures and video and they gave me breaks when they felt I was tired of posing. This really showed me that they cared about me and they worked hard to make me feel comfortable and stress free. They were great about directing me in what poses to strike and took a lot of natural photos (which are great for me the anti-picture bride). I really felt my wedding went smoothly because of Yourik's Studio and all the preparation we did together. Post Wedding The photo quality is amazing! Everything else aside, the pictures really bespeak wonders about their quality of work. There were so many options to choose from, over a thousand photos! I loved the natural photos and actually had one enlarged to hang on my wall at home. They were really fast about getting me disk of photos to choose from. Now, I am waiting on the video which is my fault because I could not get the baby pictures to them until September. I cannot wait to see the video and relive that amazing day all over again.
