We started when she was just 5 months, and now as a 10 month old she is completely comfortable in the water. She swims under water with assistance and actually wants to go under! She's not afraid to go into the pool or get water on her face. We love the calm learning environment at Swimmerman and really feel like we get great individual attention even tho it's a group class. Our instructor knows my daughter well and knows the perfect "next step" with her in the pool. It's backyard swimming with great instructors who show you how to take what you learn with you. I would recommend this swim school to any and everyone!

It's so crazy that you have to get it on the record as I have. At first you give them grace because they are a school. They'll even ask for grace. But after months of experiencing what can only be described as a wild goose chase of chaos, you hit a point where you have to say, "NO! This is no longer about grace". This is about fundamental structural and organizational failure. What I experienced went far beyond minor mistakes or student learning curves. And after speaking with a rep from the Barber and Beauty industry, it's clear that Georgia Career Instirute has systemic problems, not one-off oversights. The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers require strict compliance with sanitation, infection control, client safety, supervision and operational protocols. This means at the very least, having fully functional sinks where gook is not coming out and making sure all sinks have continuous hot water. You can't wash relaxer out in cold water. But again, this is minor, however, it undermines sanitation, safety, and basic professional standards. Think about it. If a school can't reliably provide hot water, it signals a much larger breakdown in oversight, infrastructure and accountability. Again, this is minor. There are way bigger problems over here, and I'm certain if the State Board did a random visit and/or disguised as a client, this entire school would be shut down. I do NOT recommend this school under any circumstances and believe it should be fully dissolved to protect students, clients, and the integrity of the profession.

Desiree had such a friendly personality, great energy, and made me feel comfortable right away. Most importantly, she did a great job on my hair and I left happy with the results. The school itself was really nice too. I've been to a couple other cosmetology schools before, and this one was definitely the most aesthetically pleasing and felt more welcoming. My only small complaint was with timing. My appointment was scheduled for 6:00, and I was told over the phone to come early because Thursday's were busy. I came straight from work and arrived about 25 minutes early, but by 6:23 I was still waiting while two guests who arrived after me had already been taken back. That part was a little frustrating, but overall it was still a great experience and I'll definitely be back to see Desiree and also try out their other services.

I honestly should've left soon as I sat down the vibe from the instructor Moore & the students were off & unprofessional (attitudes, back & forward w/ each other etc) I decided to stay as I was trying not to judge as I understand not everyone has a good start at times. There were three ladies on my head & the instructor kept disappearing when she knew they didn't know what they were doing. Omgoodness! I'm not so upset with the students as I know they are trying to learn. However, they NOT even learning the right technique! There is no reason why my hair looks the way it does and an instructor is supposed to guide them the correct way the entire time! They asked if I liked my hair I said "it was fine" as I was already there for hours and I didn't want to be there any longer and my hair still look a mess! I had my children to pick up from school plus I didn't want to hurt the young lady feelings as it wasn't her fault. I was over it & knew I was not going back! Sn: what makes it so wild the young lady "graduates" this Thursday. How?! Waste of money for sure! I had to bring my own hair ($200 spent on that) which they also kept some of my hair but I ain't tripping on that part most salons do unless you ask for it back. Plus the actual fee which was $75. Almost $300 spent there & it will be more cause I need someone to correct this mess! NEVER AGAIN.
