I used A Shore Maid to clean a new house in August 2018. We called for an estimate and was advised…read moreit would cost $250-$300. We considered this to be on the high end but agreed for them to do the work. When booking the job we specifically requested that they clean out our fireplace/mantel. The crew arrived on time and the cleaners did a fairly good job except they did not touch the fireplace/mantel. We then received an invoice for over $500. When we called to question why the significant increase, the owner recalled the conversaiton but denied ever quoting the original price. He then offered to send the cleaners back to clean the fireplace. In the end, we agreed to forego the fireplace cleaning and settle on a reduced amount to end the dispute. Overall, this was a very bad experience and we will not use A Shore Maid for any further work.

After double checking everything I am satisfied with their cleaning and appreciate that they did fix the problem areas as soon as I mentioned it. They were very attentive the second time around so I do appreciate that and they made sure that I was happy with the service! I was a little disappointed that attention to detail wasn't more of a focus. There were several areas that were still dusty and not fully cleaned. I had to go around and double check everything was properly deep cleaned.
