Chicken Teriyaki Bento box with bluefin tuna roll and nigiri
    Chandrika R.

Had a late lunch at Yuka Sushi today that was amazing! I got the chicken teriyaki bento box which came with miso soup, ginger salad, chicken teriyaki, white rice, blue fin tuna roll, 3 pieces of nigiri, shrimp and vegetable tempura, 1 gyoza, cucumber salad, Korean fried chicken, and fresh orange. All this for $30.16 with tax and every piece was delicious! The restaurant is cute, decorated with Japanese flowers and paper lanterns. The cocktail and wine menu look nice, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We popped in for a quick dinner after a nice workout, and we were looking for something refreshing, healthy, and satiating. This restaurant hit the SPOT. We could not recommend it enough. Get the fire crunch roll for the adventure of a lifetime.

Been here twice now for lunch and I seem to stick to what I know it's good. I always get the salmon baked roll and it's to die for. Absolutely delicious! Every. Time. I tried the miso soup and did not like it one bit so that's a hit or miss. The restaurant itself is really cute and love the real/fake trees inside!

My friend and I went around 6 for dinner here and it was empty, but the music was so nice. They had a lot of hit songs and I loved it. It was so pretty as well, I really enjoyed looking at the flowers and decorations. The service was great! Multiple people checked on us and it made the experience feel welcoming. I loved that they kind of let us make our own sushi without sticking to one specific roll. This place was very affordable, the rolls were freshly made and I believe they are always! 10/10 would love to have a birthday here!

the sushi rolls have been my favorite every time I visit here. I also like the atmosphere and staff is friendly.

I enjoy getting takeout from Yuka, and my go-to is the Alaskan roll - the salmon is fantastic. While some of their unique rolls didn't quite hit the mark for my taste, I recognize that's a personal preference. The sushi is a bit on the pricier side, but it aligns with Sandy Spring area prices. My husband and I always drop at least $80 for our meals. Overall, a reliable choice for a sushi fix.

Such an amazing interior in this place! Located in Sandy Springs, the area offers valet parking but there's free parking in the garage for 2 hours. The waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable in the menu which I love cause I'm always indecisive. Settled on the Buckhead Roll which was soooooo good 10/10! The shrimp tempura was cooked well and the eel tasted very fresh and I love that especially when eating raw fish. Similarly, the bluefin tuna maki roll was fresh as well! This was my first time (knowingly) ordering a maki roll and it won't be my last. The maki rolls were relatively inexpensive too going for $7-$12 for 6 pieces which I can't complain. Maki rolls are easy to add to their other rolls with out breaking the bank. Overall, loved it here and will definitely be back!

Fish is so fresh! Love the sweet shrimp! You have to order it! The Bento box is great value!

Sushi regular ($21.99) -- pretty good
    Jen S.

Ordered the sushi regular (5 nigiri, 6 piece salmon roll, miso soup) for take out. It was prepped quickly and the person that greeted me was very kind and polite. The sushi regular was pretty good ($21.99+tax+tip). Fresh, sizable, and well laid out. The rice was a litttttle stale but can't complain really. They packed a bag of ice to keep everything fresh. I obviously didn't stay in but I've eaten at Yuka before and the ambience is nice. The decor is pretty with fake trees inside and dark wood for tables.

For the love of food & sushi that is! Uh-may-zingggg sushi!!! Everything taste very fresh & made to order. The spicy garlic edamame was so delish as well as the crab rangoon. I really enjoyed the lobster tempura & the spider roll. I actually loved everything we ordered today. Shrimp fried rice was good as well.. I will say the drinks were made super cute but they definitely lacked in what i expected the cocktail to taste like, it was more like a flavored water. Of course i couldn't leave without fried ice cream!! 10/10. Will definitely revisit this place! I loved the ambiance as well, it is so pretty inside & clean. Our server could have cleaned up our table as he was bringing in more plates, he did lack that part & had our table overwhelmed with plates & i had to stack some of our things up. Otherwise 100% gem.

    Shrimp Tempura Roll not deveined

Ordered a shrimp crunch tempura roll to go today and it was not deveined (black area in the shrimp) which made it unappetizing. I called the restaurant which offered to remake it, but I wanted a refund which they said they could not process since I ordered online. I will not be going back.

I think I may have found my go-to local sushi joint in Sandy Springs! It's located on a busy portion of Roswell Road. Parking is going to be what you find in the street, or the nearby decks in the back and side. Should not have any issues finding a space. Interior was cute and modern, and you can't miss the cherry blossoms all over the ceiling. It's a nice touch that makes it standout from most other restaurants in the same niche. Service was attentive and timely the whole stay. Highlight was surprisingly the tempura appetizer. That sauce they have is some of the best I've had ever! As for sushi, I got my usual Rainbow Roll, and we shared one of the special ones that had unagi and avocado. Everything was tasty, and I think the fish and rice quality was solid. If I had to be picky, I think some of the fish pieces were a little too thick? The price is just a hair higher than what I'd like for this level, but you're probably paying to be in a nicer area. Overall, I'd come back here to chill with friends. No one's ever going to argue that this is THE BEST in town, but it doesn't need to be.

I have come here a few times and always enjoy the food! We ordered the 3-4 veggie option rolls and then the others ordered sashimi. The service was great and the waiter was very helpful! Highly recommend coming to try out

The ordering is a little clunky- there's a menu book but it seems they prefer you to use the iPad to order. And, there must have been instances where people were unhappy about what they typed in and were ultimately served because the server comes over to confirm what you ordered. And there is a delivery robot but it brings out the food and the server takes it off the robot tray and hands it to you. The robot gets close to your table but not within your reach. My last point would be that there is a small string of Christmas lights wrapped around a plastic stand on your table. If you need your server, you are to turn the lights on- there's written directions explaining this to you. BUT at noon, it is as bright as the bulb of an overhead projector so it is somewhat undetectable to the server. I suspect it is a better system at night. Again, good food, just not a smooth of serving.

Like a lot of other omakase places the restaurant was a little hard to find since it's pretty much just a door with a small sign and a couple of windows. The service there was phenomenal and I loved the variety for dishes! We had the 17 course meal for $242/person after taxes and tip, which was a little expensive but seemed fair for Atlanta. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings. One of the highlights was the Kimi Oboro, prepared using a 200-year-old vinegar technique -- simply remarkable. My sister loved every dish, even falling in love with the pickled ginger! The service was outstanding as well -- two servers took care of us throughout the evening, always greeting us with genuine smiles and impeccable manners. Because of this, dining out, especially at a buffet, always felt nearly impossible to me. Nori Nori completely changed that perception. My first interaction with the restaurant was a phone call to ask whether they offered tamari. The hostess was incredibly courteous and immediately reassured me that they did. When I arrived, I was warmly escorted to my table, and the Chef/Owner--who I believe held both roles--personally came over to guide me through the menu items I should avoid. She also explained that many dishes could be prepared gluten-free and dairy-free so I could enjoy them safely. That level of care and attentiveness was both comforting and genuinely touching. Now, onto the food... They offered veggie and salmon rolls, refreshing cold salads, and hot dishes such as Oriental Fish, steamed snow crab legs, seasoned scallops, and some of the fluffiest white rice I've had in quite some time. At one point, I had a question about a particular dish, and before I could even worry, the Chef was right there to help. She kindly steered me toward another wonderfully fragrant option that was safer for me to enjoy. Her attentiveness felt incredibly sincere--like someone truly invested in making sure I had both a safe and memorable dining experience. That small gesture meant more to me than I can fully express. Living with dietary restrictions means that something as routine as choosing a meal can be emotionally exhausting and potentially dangerous without constant vigilance. To make the experience even more thoughtful, the restaurant also provided plastic gloves so I wouldn't need to touch shared tongs or surfaces. Since I can react to contact with gluten-contaminated surfaces, this extra precaution made me feel genuinely cared for. And finally, dessert: sliced honeydew, cantaloupe, and CHERRY JELLO! It was the perfect ending to such a thoughtful, safe, and genuinely delicious dining experience. I can't wait to return again!

The best place to park is in the garage that's in the same building as Cuddlefish. Enter the garage via Cross St. After parking, there's a convenient walkway that leads out of the garage that's only a couple storefronts away from Cuddlefish. The restaurant has a nice corner spot at High Street. Outside, there's a spacious covered patio. Inside, the temaki bar, dining room, and bakery-cafe all share a modern, open space. That was enough to fill us up for a meal. I probably could've had one or two more temaki. In general, every item was well-made and delicious. All of the temaki were great and all of the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was beautiful. My favorite temaki were the Toro Uni Ikura, Salmon Ikura, and Hokkaido Uni. My wife is pregnant, so they accommodated her with a free mocktail, cooking the salmon and excluding the ikura on her Salmon Tataki temaki. We appreciated that. Our table gobbled everything up. The Matcha Saketini was thick and heavy on the matcha. We did find it cumbersome to remove two strips of plastic for each temaki, but we understand why they do it (to keep the seaweed crisp). Sometimes, some of the ingredients would slide off with the plastic wrap, which was not ideal. I heard that if you sit at the bar, you don't have to deal with the plastic wrap (e.g., if you do a temaki tasting). The treats from the bakery-cafe were yummy. Service was excellent. All of the staff was polite and friendly. Thank you, Sian, Etta, and the Asian guy with glasses whose name I did not get. The name "Cuddlefish" is a play on cuttlefish, which is similar to a squid. Growing up, I ate dried cuttlefish from Thailand as a snack.
