My wife and I have enjoyed food here in the past. But I think we are done coming here. The wait staff is sort of oblivious and robotic if not unconcerned with the customers. We walked in for a lunch special and because we sat down at 2:59 they said we couldn't get the lunch special and sort of ignored us after, stating it ended at 3:00. I get it, they have a schedule but we were there before it ended to make it in time and because it was 1 minute before they told us we couldn't get it. I order from this restaurant frequently for delivery, however according to their menu flyer, it states free local delivery with a minimum of a $15 order. However, the past two times that I have ordered from them, they have stated that there is a $30 minimum for local delivery. I live four minutes away from the restaurant and I feel it is very wrong and unfair for them to put a minimum of $30 even though they stated $15 minimum. This is my favorite restaurant in town and I order from them all the time, but unfortunately, I will not be ordering from them anymore due to this fraudulent behavior. read more

Got takeout from here and I thought the food was pretty good. I ordered a Chirashi and a three rolls lunch special. The total came out to $30 which is very reasonable. The fish was fresh and everything was well made. My only complaint is on the chirashi where I would have preferred the fish to be cut into thinner slices. Finally tried this place because they offered hard to find vegetarian Ramen and had quite a few other vegetarian dishes on their menu. Ambience nice, service friendly, food good but not amazing. Generous portions. I had the inori roll as an appetizer that was OK. Not a whole lot of flavor and it seemed a little bit of color might have improved its plate appeal. In all fairness, I've never ordered this roll before elsewheee so maybe it's always just all yellowish-brown (I love colorful food)) My husband had the sashimi appetizer, which he orders everywhere. He said it was very good, but not his favorite. He had an udon soup with chicken and loved it. I had the vegetarian Ramen, which was very tasty and pretty, but I was quite disappointed with the tofu. The tofu was deep-fried (coated with something?) and the outside was so tough that I couldn't even break it into pieces with a 2-handed fork & chopstick combo effort. It was so hard to eat the tofu that I almost wanted to pick it up with my hands and eat it that way, maybe a steak knife would have helped! It would've been much better just lightly pan fried or even just steamed. Why does everyone overcook tofu? Anyway, we will definitely go back to try some other items on the menu. read more

This was our second visit to Yuki, and it again was a pleasure to be able to enjoy gluten-free Asian food. (You do have to let the server know, and they will review your choices with you to make sure the dish will be safe for a gluten-free person.) Today I got the sushi combo: three sushi rolls (mango shrimp, tuna with avocado, and sweet potato. SO good! The mango shrimp was perfect, and the tuna was definitely fresh and tasty. The sweet potato roll had to be modified for me, but it was also tasty. A small bowl of soup and a salad were included in my choice--all of this for an amazing price, The restaurant is cozy but tastefully decorated and very clean. Who could ask for anything more? Highly disappointed at this place. It took an hour and a half to get our soups delivered. When we called to ask the status of the food, they said the manager will call back and never did. Then if you called again, they would not pick up for our number. We had to use different phones just for someone to answer. I get it it is getting harder and harder to run a restaurant but openly ripping off your customers is not the way to go. I ordered a serving of "seafood food". I got a cup of salty water with one shrimp, one scallop, one mussel, two thin pieces of fish cake and one stick of fake crab. The price: TEN dollars! My relative ordered "chicken teriyaki". He got a small chicken filet and a cup of white rice for 15 dollars!. No veggies or anything else other than chicken and rice. We love the food here. We come every so often, it is consistent and they get the order right. However, the service is terribly slow. I could order online 30 min before I arrive, and I would have to wait another 30 min for the food to be ready after I get there. This is for small orders. This happened every time we go. Seems to me like they rush you from the minute you walk in the door. . 2nd time here and 2nd time they brought the check when we weren't done. While we were eating one of the servers also came over and asked us to hand her the soy sauce containers so we did. 5 minutes later she brings them back puts them down and says please put these back. My mom and I tried this place after going to the DMV a couple doors down. It was the best decision we made! My mother and I both agreed that this is the best sushi spot we have ever been to hands down. I got a spicy salmon roll and sweet potato roll and my mother got two shrimp with mango rolls. They have a lunch special where they give you soup or salad with two or three rolls for like $9. It was affordable, clean, friendly, and most importantly had amazing food. We even got dessert! Been to three Omakase spots in Jersey so far, moved here 10 months ago. All quite different. I've been to Yuki twice. Very nice people here. They give it their all, with great service and great quality food. My wife, MIL, and I shared one $100 & one $50 omakase. There was so much food and it was all good. We ended up packing enough leftovers for a full meal for my FIL. Good job Yuki! If you've never had omakase, sit at the sushi bar and try it. It's a little more expensive but it's totally worth it. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant since they opened. Sometimes once a week, sometimes more since it's so close to work. They have Chinese food as well as Japanese food. The restaurant is in a strip mall that has dmv, staples, farmers market, Leslie's pool, etc. so it's a great place to stop and get a few things done at the same time. The inside is very clean, plenty of parking although some times you have to park farther. I usually get the sashimi lunch and it's always been great. Sometimes I will get the 3 roll special. Sometimes I stick with Chinese food with beef with broccoli or shrimp with lobster sauce. Everything I have had has been good. The staff has always been friendly. read more
