I've done Reiki a couple of times before but never felt a huge difference. With Deborah, it was different. During the session, Deborah asked questions to understand my needs and concerns. She was positive and warm, and made me feel very comfortable. She also introduced me to flower essences, which I hadn't heard of prior. During the healing session, I yawned a lot (like I was releasing a lot of repressed energy!). Afterwards, I felt relaxed - it was clear that the session truly worked although it wasn't done in person, which I was a little nervous about at first. Deborah also quickly followed up after our session with additional information and promptly responded to a follow up question I had about flower essences. It's been four days since our session, and my chronic neck pain that I've had for 10 weeks is significantly better - in a way my chiropractor couldn't help. I'm really glad I made the investment in my healing session with Deborah and now understand why she has so many positive, genuine reviews (she's not compensating us or giving us discounts to write these, like some businesses do!). He navigated me through many emotional storms. After a couple years Doc felt our work together was successful and discharged me. A few years later, my son began to have trouble at school. He was in the fourth grade and lacked self control. He was the class clown. Dr. Glatzer treated him and the success was extraordinary. My son stopped acting out and misbehaving. My son went from a teacher's nightmare to the teacher's preferred student. He became a straight A student and no more behavioral issues. My son became an honors student and a leader of his class. After years of success with Dr. Glatzer, we decided to challenge his skills at couples counseling. My wife and I hit a brick wall in our relationship. Dr. Glatzer agreed to treat us. Couples therapy is not a walk in the park or for the timid. My wife and I thought our marriage was doomed and were skeptical about couples counseling. We agreed, if counseling was not successful , we would become a statistic ending in the "D" word. Dr. Glatzer was a referee, counselor and educator. As I recall, It felt like there were more dark days than I care to count. My wife and I received only one marriage counseling session and then he split us up into individual sessions for the remaining 4 months, likely to double up on payments. To make matters worse, he was obviously unhappy I was far more financially successful than he was and its a pitiful to pay a "professsional" for this behavior. He didn't have the self awareness to remain impartial about details of my life. Furthermore, he demonstrated poor emotional intelligence and a lack of mature values which expectantly dictated his unprofessional behavior. As I should have seen before here on Yelp, that experience wasn't unique and he has clearly built a reputation for for it. Like others have stated here, stay away.
