Mango smoothie with some doughnuts left!
    Charlotte C.

Good donuts, great smoothies! Happy the lady remembered to drop a proper stack of napkins in the bag for these. I got the stick donut, the chocolate cake frosted sprinkles and a couple glazed chocolate frosted with the mango smoothie. Ate the first couple so quickly I almost forgot to take a photo, Happy Doughnut day y'all! (June 6th)

I prefer Krispy Kreme and Winchells but YYD is acceptable when I get a donut craving. Unfortunately, both donuts were below average. Service was above average but there is also no seating. I neither recommend or not recommend and will remain neutral like Switzerland.

i grew up coming to this donut shop a lot, the service is amazing, they're always greeting me and making me feel welcome. i usually get their bagel sandwiches, i recommend the veggie sandwich it's THE ABSOLUTE BEST. this yum yum donuts is so homey to me i love it so much

This location has a good vibe of neighborhood folks having a cup of joe and a sweet breakfast treat. The service is excellent. The counter moves fast and attentive. The trays of colorful doughnuts are usually full. He bagels are a bit store bought consistency yet good. Best of all, they're breakfast items such as a delicious Chorizo and Egg bagel sandwich is legitimately good. Open 24 hours

Yesterday I had a bomb ass sandwich made by one of the ladies. It was soooo tasty it compelled me to come back today. Unfortunately, there was a different woman who gave less then par service. Yesterday, the woman who made my sandwich (at 4:30am) asked me which toppings I wanted, which cheese I wanted, and which sauce I liked. It was great. I was in heaven. However today, the woman who made my sandwich was short and snappy. I almost walked out on her making the sandwich. I asked if they had brown mustard, and every response was borderline rude. Yet she was singing along to her music just fine. She made me feel like I was the problem. I only bought the sandwich to not stoop down to her level. However, for now on, I'm patronizing a different donut shop. Clearly they have their clientele. This is a picture of the lady who gave less than par service. I truly hate attacking people's job, however, I'm learning that mannerism and integrity are just formalities most find obsolete.

They are nice. The store is clean. I wish they had a better variety after 9:00 am but maybe that's not possible.

I found their donuts to be stale and no fancy type is going to correct that. The place is super cute and very clean. The staff is fine, nothing to write home about. They really don't see too interested in the customers. But they are okay. Parking is pretty easy. What they do make well is coffee. I love dark black coffee and they have that and more and it is very good. Their prices are high-- I think too high. They do have a decent selection on hand. I would go there for coffee, but I won't bother with their donuts anymore. I really hope they work on making sure all donuts are fresh. Their cornbread is good. I have a friend who wanted to try them so we went back and I still found them stale tasting, but great coffee.

They have other locations in So Cal. HGD's story began with Nile and Hana Dreiling, siblings from Hanalei, Kauai. Their donuts have unparalleled quality utilizing fresh and local ingredients that had my mind blown. Know what's best?! It's made to order, so your donut will be warm, soft and tasty. Moreover, they have compendious menu that customers will surely appreciate. Each donut has unique names and flavor. I arrived Saturday noon to grab an Iced Coffee and a Hot Single donut (cheat day). I was warmly greeted by an affable and professional staff, Sofia. She was the only staff at the time when her coworkers were on their lunch break. And customers started to come albeit in small batches. I almost offered to help her out take orders or make donuts. ;D Lol. I hope this young female staff gets a significant raise for going above and beyond. I know I would. I enjoyed my cold drink and my 2 donuts (a complimentary Original Sin donut was given to me). I was befuddled for such a kind gesture. Anyways, their cute mini donuts were the best donuts I ever had. Not too sweet just perfect amount. It's like a spiritual awakening from the Holy Grail. lol. ;D Furthermore, its interior layout was spacious, neat and naturally well lit. They sell some merch, tumblers and mugs as well. Seats are plentiful. Atmosphere was relaxing. Collectively, this is an exceptional and unique donut shop. Plenty of public parking lots in the area. Overall, I truly enjoyed my cheat day- donuts. I highly recommend you visit the holy grail of Holey Grail donuts. ;D

As I was about to pay for a glazed buttermilk donut and coffee, I asked if they had anything savory. The employee mentioned they had several breakfast items, so I ordered the bacon and egg burrito, which sounded like exactly what I was craving. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The burrito came out piping hot, but it was obvious it had been reheated rather than freshly made. It tasted like it had been microwaved, which isn't something I personally enjoy. I prefer food made fresh whenever possible. The donut was also disappointing. It didn't taste fresh and seemed stale, as if it had been sitting around for at least a day. I was happy to discover they offered savory breakfast options, but the quality didn't meet my expectations. Between the reheated burrito and stale donut, this wasn't a breakfast experience I'd repeat. Sadly, I don't see myself returning.
