Sighhhhh. I really wanted to give more stars but a clean space and large variety only go so far if the food isn't on par. I tried both a standard glazed (my usual go-to when trying a donut place) and a maple bar. Both tasted only of the oil they were fried in :-( I couldn't finish either donut. Once that oil flavor is detected it's impossible to not taste. read more

I stopped by this establishment to kill time before a concert at Morgan-Wixson Theatre and I dislike and refuse to tolerate rude service. When the service is poor, it overshadows any merits of the food. The reception was very rude; the waiter, who also served as the cashier on a Sunday, was alone. It was around 6-6:30 PM, and there were few people. Yet, he rushed around as if we were at an In-N-Out. Take orders calmly, execute them peacefully, and serve without rudeness. It felt like he was cooking with one hand, taking orders with the other, and still finding time to be impolite. The most unpleasant part was being denied access to the restroom. Despite purchasing food and drinks and sitting in the café, I was not allowed. While such policies are not uncommon, how the staff presents them matters. read more

The only downside to it is if you get stuck in the middle of the morning rush you might find yourself waiting about 5 to 10 minutes for a simple glazed doughnut. So what I try to do is come either before the rush which is before 8 AM or after the rush which is after about 8:45 AM. The staff is pretty much OK I would say they pay attention to you when you walk in the door but often times they are very busy making sandwiches for other customers.
