YSL!! Ok, so i went to 3 other locations and I gotta say that this one is my favorite! I think I said the other locations were my favorite, but not FR, this one is my Fave! This store has a great set up and!!!!! Guess what the staff is incredible! I think I said that about the other store too, but no FR, this one has the best staff!! They were super busy inside, and we didn't have a chance to speak with an associate, but they all seemed super friendly and helpful to others. I had hoped to get a bag, but didn't feel like waiting around any longer as I had more shopping to do. I would definitely return to give it another chance. read more

Americans beware! Make sure you ask to see the items you are going to purchase before they box them up! YSL makes beautiful products, and you do get a better deal on them in Paris than you would in the United States, like we did on the clutch that we got on this visit. To get our tax refund when we went back to the states, the items were all boxed up so we didn't see their condition until we were back home in California. They tell you in the store to leave them in the packaging because if there is an inspection for the tax refund, they need to see the items that way, so you just leave them alone until you get home. This is the part of the transaction you need to watch out for, when we got home, we saw that my wife's handbag had some fine scratches and tarnishing, and looked like the one from the case line, the one everybody touches- almost more like a used bag than a new one from the boutique. The service in the store was friendly, but deceptive. Our sales person texted me to see if I was happy with everything and when I told him about the condition of the bag, he responded by saying that there was an 'aged effect for the hardware on this line' and could he see a photo. They sell the same bag in Beverly Hills and that is not the case. He went on to say that he would never lie or sell something as new that was a floor sample and that YSL removes all traces from factory production like the plastic that covers hardware so that it doesn't scratch. This was also not true and I sent him a photo of the plastic still covering the snap. We also spoke with the Beverly Hills YSL and they confirmed that do not sell bags from the case unless it's the last one, in which case they inform you so that you can make a choice. We were already back in the states when we found this out so returning it for a new one is no longer an option. Don't let this happen to you and make sure and check anything you buy before it's wrapped up! read more

Amazing store and staff! I went in to buy a specific bag, and not only did my sales associate show me the bag I wanted, he made a couple of recommendations for similar bags and showed them to me. I ended up going with one of his recommendations. The whole experience was quick, efficient, and pleasant. No one was pushy, and my sales associate was easy to talk to and kind. The store itself is immaculate and beautiful, and I'm so glad I went to this slightly quieter location compared to some of the other stores in Paris. read more

Saint Laurent is my current favorite brand. It has that rocker edge while still being classy & more importantly, luxurious! Happily strolling down Rue Saint-Honoré feeling like a million bucks after my shoe purchase, I walked in & said "why not!" Oops... The store layout is very clean & modern - 2 things I love! Jennifer came to help me while I was looking at several different purses. She was so great! She brought me out various sizes of the two bags I was deciding between and never once seemed annoyed that I couldn't decide. I'll spare the rest of the details but service was grest from beginning to end. She even gave me a recommendation on a hot new bar to have drinks at. So this review is for the women's store, which is located at 38 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore -- the men's store, which Jason N. reviewed, is actually a couple of stores down at 32 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore. Anyway...what can I say? This store is amazing -- and not just because I'm slightly biased toward the brand. The staff is extremely friendly and talkative (but don't worry -- they'll leave you alone if you busy yourself with your phone or something), and very helpful. The (several) times I went in here during my most recent trip to Paris, sales associates were quick to greet me and tell me about their private sale, extending the sale prices to me even though it hadn't technically started yet. They're also very frank about the merchandise, which is refreshing. I was weighing my options between a Muse and a Muse 2, and an associate was considerate enough to point out that the Muse 2 has weak spots (at the corners, where the suede meets the regular leather). For this reason, he suggested I purchase the Muse. And this wasn't a sales tactic -- the Muse 2 was more expensive than the Muse. The store comprises six rooms across two floors. The first room on the top floor features bags, accessories, and jewelry; the second room had sale items (bags and wallets) when I was there; and the third room has ready-to-wear. The bottom floor (there's a staircase from the second room) has shoes, more shoes, and eveningwear/sale items. read more

Staffs are not the greatest. The lady at the register messed up my global blue tax refund paperwork and now I lost the chance to get my tax refund. I also think the staffs are secretively judgmental and hating on you. read more

The service here in exceptional! I was helped by sarah from the moment I walked in to when I left. I walked around the store searching for the bag I wanted and didn't see it, but sarah waited patiently while I pulled up the website on my phone and waited for it to load so that I could show her which one I wanted. She found them & brought out both sizes available for me to look at and decide. I hadn't brought my passport to the store that day but she placed the bag on hold for me to come back the next day to purchase. The farthest I get down Saint Honoré... but the trek is worth it... great service here coupled with wallets, high tops and crazy boots always makes it fun to shop here. read more
