I am so fed up with this studio, the customer service is horrendous. Six years I've been supporting…read morethis studio. This morning, I showed up to a 7:15 a.m. class to learn I'd accidentally registered for class the day before. Busy, working, single mom, mistakes happen. I was told, no problem, there is a spot in the class available - that will just be $37! When there is an empty space and I missed my class and I pay for a membership and already booked and paid for an extra class this week on top of my membership. I've taken over 500 classes with this studio and they'd rather let the class have an empty spot then let a loyal customer make up a class she's showed up to take. It just feels like a kick in the face every time I interact with reception. It's a great workout and two blocks from my house. But I just cannot continue to support a business that treats its customers so badly.

This is definitely a total body workout that emphasizes your core and lower legs. However, there…read moreare some classes that offer more arm work. These abs and arms classes are restricted to more advanced members The machinery may complicate some, but after the first three classes, you should get the hang of it. Many of the moves are repeated in various classes, which also makes it easier to catch on I believe this business should offer to beginners, some slower paced, lighter spring classes to build up confidence and strength. It also be safer and less frustrating for newbies. Alternatively, in regular classes, additional modifications, as well as lighter spring loads, should be offered to those who appear to be struggling. The best thing about these classes is that the are only 40 minutes long! They pack a lot of training into this time. Frankly, any longer, and I don't think I would make it. Make sure you cool down and stretch on your own after class as this is not included. Muscle through the first few classes and I guarantee you will enjoy it. They often offer beginner packages too so ask!!

Super aesthetic pilates spot right by the Yaletown sky train station that's on Classpass! I used to…read morego a few times right before work at 7 and it's definitely not one of the classes that are overcrowded with ppl. Instructors do pay attention and make adjustments to individual students if needed. Different teachers have different teaching styles I recommend trying everyone to explore! If you have more specific issues you want to fix then I recommend their private lessons. They have way more equipment in that room. Also all of their instructors have related education in that field so that's good to know

The studio is upstairs in what seems like an office type building. The environment is very trendy spa. They have some cool felted lamps. The facilities include two change rooms and some lockers that use key cards, which are provided by reception for free. There's several taps for water bottle refills, but no showers and no bathrooms, which is a bit strange. After putting away any items in the lockers, everyone waits in the reception on a couple of wooden benches for the instructor. The studio itself has huge windows so is very bright. It does have an open concept layout, which was weird because during the class, we could see and hear people not in the class discussing something in the hall. It seems like this place also offers massage therapy and physio. Veema was the instructor and she was super nice. She gave us an orientation to the machines and equipment before the class began. During the class, her instructions were very clear and she moved around the room, correcting people's form. The moves did seem progressive and then we did some stretches to close out the class.
