Super efficient in getting through customs and claiming baggage. I was out of the terminal faster than the US airports. Biometric passports are adopted and well implemented here.

We stopped at Zurich airport in our trip to Milano from Miami Via Swiss Air and landed early morning The staff operating the airport was incredible helpful and attentive to help us during our trip My elderly parents were helped with care and a nice young lady escorted us thru immigration and to our connecting flight gate, she even came back to make sure we were aware of the gate change and transfer us to the new gate. Overall this airport is easy to navigate and the areas are clean.

Zürich airport is easy to navigate. The gates are below the ticketing agents and bag check. Once you go through security, you'll take the stairs down towards your gate. Then, a bus from your gate to your plane. Overall, it's a clean and small international airport with plenty of space to move around. There are chairs to sit in and people are crowding around to form a line 30 minutes before the plane takes off.

Great airport, clean customer service was good. Modern airport with lots of duty free and eatery to choose from.

Everything you possibly need is at this airport it seems. It is nice that you don't have to go through security to visit and enjoy the hub of the airport. However, there's an interesting check in system. Each boarding class (eg first, business, economy, etc) checks in at different areas. As to be expected, economy is very crowded and you go to what seems like steerage on the titanic to get to your flight. Also, if flying to the US, keep your passport readily available! I think we had 6 passport checks just to get to our gate - a bit overkill as you have to wait in a line each time. Also, the bathrooms were not the cleanest and the water refill stations are few and far between (if they're working). However, there is so much shopping and eating available and, after a walk, you have quick access to public transportation to quickly get you where you need to go in the city.

The Airport is beautiful. A lot of restaurants and hotels. Clean and neat. We Loveto travel there in nearfuture.

This is a beautiful airport. Large hallways. Plenty of seating areas. Lots with charging stations. We got through security in less than 5 minutes on a Saturday around 10 am. That was regular security, no prescreen or fast pass. They fast and efficient while staying polite. Difficulty logging on to WiFi? You need to find a WiFi station. You have several ways to get a code; scan passport, boarding pass, or SMS (which didn't work for us). We used our boarding pass and logged in that way, without delay.

Beautiful and busy airport especially during touring seasons, we were waiting at custom for an hour. At first there weren't much to see, but wait until you pass the check-in point, shops and chocolates awaits you.

Custom lines were super long. Appears that they need more li es for non-CH and EEA passport holders. The people were super nice and the airport facilities were very clean. I hate the airport models were you have to get a tram and use se real escalators. Makes it hard to maneuver when you have bags. Shouldn't complain - it's not like they can rebuild the airport.

The showers and bathrooms were communal which $200 CHF per night to not have your own toilet is wild. The shower did not get hot and the water splashed all over the floor due to the design and I almost fell multiple times when getting out due to the slipperiness. It took them 20 min to prepare us a bed at 1100 pm, which you would think the rooms would already be cleaned and ready that late. Bed was okay, it was a bed at an airport. Not incredibly comfortable but better than the floor. I would expect for $200 for it to be SLIGHTLY better. Toilets had poo in them every time I went to use them, and it was every single stall. Overall wouldn't stay here again. It Was also sweltering hot in the room and uncomfortable.

I recently spent a seven hour layover in Zurich transiting from the States to Turkey, and while I had some trouble with my flights (no fault of the venue) that ate into my recuperation time at the Transit Hotel, I spent a wonderful four hours showering and sleeping in a real bed. Heidi, the staff member who took care of me upon arrival and check-out, was so nice, and her English was easy to understand. The price was reasonable, and while I stayed in a private room, there are couch options at a notable lower price. The space was clean and simply appointed. There was a television and sink in the room, but I didn't do anything but sleep, and I can attest--the bed was comfortable and the temperature of the room was comfortable. I'll definitely be staying here again. If only I can convince them to implement a loyalty program...

It was clean and the room was a bit tight but not bad. We were in room 110 and the road was right there, so it was loud. Each room has a balcony but ours faced the road and trees - nothing you'd want to sit out and view. The breakfast buffet was typical for the region. The only thing that puzzled me was there was one boiled egg, that I took. When I went back up, there was another. So clearly they didn't replenish vs putting maybe another 1 or 2 out? The scrambled egg pan remained almost empty (not enough for a serving) the whole time we were there. There is no AC and as someone else noted, no screens and it is loud outside. Our work around was to lower the automatic blinds, which blocked some of the light and noise but still allowed some air flow. *Also, we asked the front desk for a fan, which was a game changer. Parking is an up charge - 15CHF outside or 20 CHF inside. So add that on top of whatever rate you are

This hotel is also close to the airport, relatively close to the city center, and was very much near my venue of interest (Zurich OpenAir music festival). A few days before, I got an email saying I would be getting a room upgrade, which I was definitely looking forward to. I originally booked a twin room and was ultimately upgraded to a queen deluxe. The room itself looked like a pretty standard room in any decent US Hilton hotel. The bathroom was relatively tiny (to US standards) but having lived in Europe before, I was not surprised! Despite the old nature of the building and rooms, by room was very clean and tidy. The carpet was definitely old so I used socks to walk around in. With Gold Status, I was able to have complimentary breakfast, which was a buffet open until about 10:30am. I made the mistake of going late the first morning I was there and the attending staff got super anxious. It was a bit weird, but I let it slide. I also had dinner at the same restaurant on one night and my bill ran me 40 CHF...not ideal, but that's what you need to expect when it comes to dining in Switzerland! The staff are hit-or-miss when it comes to courteous and friendly service. Some employees were nice and helpful, while others had a straight up attitude. When it comes to convenience, this location is perfect if you need to be near the airport. It's also not very far from the city center. My two night stay got me 10k Hilton Honors points, so I can't complain about that!
