From the beginning, we were welcomed by professor Silva with open arms as well as every member that attended this school . Professor Silva is a fantastic instructor. He has patience poise and grace has an amazing background in martial arts and physical fitness. Professor Silva has an amazing gift for the art of instruction. You also have high level black belts coming in to assist with additional instruction. There are several seminars that are going through throughout the year from top level jujutsu practitioners ! Even during times I was not able to attend due to injuries from my profession , from the professor down to white belts, they welcome me back with open arms. My son is a purple belt has been going since he was 12 years old and he is now 20, he attends college and whenever he has time he drops in and they welcome him like he was there yesterday! It was super cool to see Sifu Smith as the head instructor of the Oceanside school, as he was one of the senior instructors present for my Purple Sash test all those years ago. The environment is clean, very positive, very supportive and is great for all ages. What I love the most is learning useful techniques and forms while getting a great workout. We just had our annual tournament at Viejas Arena at SDSU and it was an excellent experience.
