The business is owned by a nice (Vietnamese?) family, and for how small this shop is, they really accomplish much with the space they have. Some of the shop is for pan-Asian groceries like wasabi, fish sauce, rice cookers, tea sets, nori, and other ingredients typical of East Asian (and some Indian) cuisine. The other part of the store is an open kitchen and small dining room with three or four tables where customers can get some lunch. The store is small but functional, especially for selling specialty ingredients not typically found in German grocers. Just be sure to bring cash as they do not take credit or debit cards (at least since the last time I went). Overall, this place is good for a tasty lunch, ingredients for Asian cooking, and inexpensive spices.

I cannot say anything about the bubble-tea quality (urks), but the choice of the small supermarket is typically asian, and i like it. It does not have too many fresh vegetables, but the standard pan-asian (chinese?) spices and ingredients which I wouldnt no where to get in Siegen, if not there. The food form the diner is okay for a quick lunch or a cheap dinner. You can both eat in the diner, where some seats and tables are provided, but they lack any attempt to create an athmosphere. Very functional. So, for me, takeaway is the better choice. Sadly food quality really varies. Personally, I dont go there for lunch anymore, because the last time i had lunch there tasted like yesterdays oil in the wok. There are other asian restaurants around, which I would rather recommend.

Open on Sundays (YAYYYY- this is why I shop around the Hbf), you can find anything from udon noodles to massaman curry mix to mace to unoki mushrooms. Korean, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian...it's all covered. Food from the subcontinent is not, for the most part. The staff is very friendly and super helpful, but beware, you must pay with cash (unless it is over 10 Euros I believe, but don't mark my word on that). They also sell accessories, kitchenware, and anything else you may need to eat a complete Asian meal. The reason I don't shop here more often is because there are better and bigger Asian stores. And those better Asian stores are cheaper. Quite a bit cheaper, in fact. I also prefer a variety of goods and since it is missing Indian products, I find it easier to head up Kaiserstraße to my beloved Spicelands and the Asian markets on the that street. But if you're hanging around underground and don't feel like walking through the 'interesting' streets around the Hbf, this place is for you!
