Went last night, family of 4. We waited 5-10mins for a table and was then seated in a couch area. Ordered food and drinks at bar and drinks were handed straight over. Then came the wait. We ordered 2 pastas and 2 pizzas. Waited 1hr and 11mins for 1 pizza. Spoke to staff and they checked on food. Waited another 15mins for the 2 pastas. Another 15mins for sons pizza. absolutely shocking service. Food was average. So disappointed. I will say the manager gave us 50% refund but honestly. To wait this long for such easy meals and it was clear it was super rushed anyway. never again. Never read more

So here's a place that's by the beach and is open on holidays. Does it have anything else going for it? It's not unexpectedly fairly costly in this premium location, with an extra charge on holidays (common practice around these parts, but notable as that's when people go to the beach). Nonetheless, I managed to avoid this as for some reason didn't put the sign up until after I'd paid. The place was busy, and it's a nicer dining area than average. The pizza itself was notable for the quantity of toppings. The pizza I ordered had pumpkin, artichokes, and sundried tomatoes. I'm not wild about pumpkin, but it was a palatable pizza, and I was full enough to walk all the way around the nearby national park and start my trip back without so much as a hint of hunger. Seeing as how the Sunshine Coast region has yet to catch the vegetarian fever that has spread through Gold Coast and Brisbane, this place is an acceptable option for me. read more

In deciding where to eat dinner we chose this place because their web site said they were open until midnight. Upon arrival at 8:45 we were told they were closed and they wouldn't serve us. This prompted a walking search of this entire town where we found a burger place open 'til 10:00. So, I will say Hell would freeze over before these guys would see any of my tourist dollars. Be aware. This is a very early town. Other venues acknowledged this on their adds and web sites. read more

Quite happy with this place. Got a great table by the window and the pizza was really good. There is no table service which is a bummer but ordering was quick and easy at the bar at the time we went. Staff were also friendly. read more

I picked this spot because it seemed to be struggling post-Covid, and had a fantastic menu. Was not disappointed. Kids had a great time -- loved their fish and chips and fettucine and bolognese (really good bolognese too, properly reduced over time and not whipped up that evening) plus I accidentally ordered a GF base with our vegetarian option... and it was really, really good. We topped it with our Sunshine Salad and ate way too much. ^_^ Cannot fault the wine choices on the menu either -- the shiraz was excellent, and there were kid-sized options. Live music on a Saturday night, great weather, really friendly staff (they only had five on the floor on a super busy night thanks to staff shortages). Oh, and our small dog was made very welcome. Pizza base was thin, dry and horrible. Lacked any sort of sauce underneath the toppings. Pasta dish was also dry but even then it was more appealing than the pizza. Decent customer service at the counter was also sadly lacking. Rude, rushed and nonchalant. There are so many other places in Noosa to get great food and service- give this place a miss! read more

$19.50 Seriously smallest pasta ever, ordered a takeaway carbonara and the staff had no idea. The staff were friendly but no guidance on where to wait or when your meal was ready, had to keep going up and asking even after asking twice and giving my name I then saw what ended up being my meal sit there as they kept walking past it. Bland in taste and pasta under cooked with maybe three cubes of bacon mixed in. Stay well clear of this place. read more

This pizza place has been around for over 8 years I'm sure! You know you're in a top place when a) its packed b) your attended to pretty much as soon as you look like you're a bit lost c) the wait staff find you the best possible table for you, your hubby and enormous pregnant belly, and d) your delicious gourmet pizza is put onto your table under 10min. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Zacherys. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, a local gem that doesn't carry the ridiculous price tag like its surrounding restaurants. Chill and laid back atmosphere. Food here is amazing... Exactly what I was looking for - light Sunshine Salad and the nacho plate. Came here with a friend and we shared the two dishes... Very generous helpings! :) will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area. read more

Perfectly acceptable Pizza Bar. We only tried the pizza so I can't comment on other menu items. My pizza was tasty. Plenty of people ordering takeaways and sitting at the bar enjoying a drink and talking to staff while waiting for their food. We returned the following night, a Friday, and the place was packed with plenty of people waiting to eat there. read more

Got a take away pizza from Zachary's in Hastings Street - just a normal supreme pizza- when we got home there was sooooooo much chilli on the pizza it was inedible! Called to let them know, they did offer a replacement but we had already made the 15 minute walk home and didn't feel,it was worth it! read more

Pizza is nice...nothing spectacular for the price it costs. Wouldnt suggest dining in if you want to be able to talk to whoever you are with, it gets very loud in there. read more

Great place for a pizza with the family. Pizzas good but not great. Base not much more than Lebanese bread with topping put through a chain driven oven . Nevertheless not a bad place for a drink or 2 & share a pizza. read more

THE GOOD STUFF We held our rehearsal dinner a few days before our wedding ceremony (September 2012). The location was great, as our ceremony is on the Main Beach foreshore and our guests could walk straight from the rehearsal to Zachary's in less than 5 minutes. We chose Zachary's as the venue as we wanted a super casual vibe for the rehearsal dinner, and as we were paying for it ourselves we didn't want it to be too expensive. Not only is it cheaper for a pizza there than a main at other restaurants along Hastings St, but they also don't have entrees or desserts, so we knew it wouldn't turn into a costly three-course dinner. This also meant that we could have a quicker meal, as this was the event between our ceremony rehearsal and welcome drinks at a bar/restaurant further along Hastings St. The food is really good: lots of different, exotic combinations of pizza toppings (the duck was amazing), and it was made really well. NOT SO GOOD STUFF I am a Noosa local but organised the wedding from abroad, so hadn't seen it in person. When we were first deciding on rehearsal dinner venues a few months before the wedding the person I spoke to on the phone said it would be fine to make a booking for 20 people, but when I called back to make the booking they said they don't take reservations. This seemed odd but we were quite keen on Zachary's for the venue, so I called back the following week and the person said of course it was fine to take bookings. A week before the wedding I went in person to see the venue and confirm our booking, and they showed where it was written in the book and said that it was all fine. However, on the night, I was the first in our group to arrive to Zachary's and noticed that there was not a table for 20 set up. I asked someone at the bar about it, and they said they don't take any reservations. I said that I had made a reservation and confirmed it last week, and he replied "I'm the manager and I should know, and I said we don't take bookings." I told him 20 people were about to show up for a wedding rehearsal dinner and he checked the book, found my reservation, and then said sheepishly, "Oh, since we don't take reservations, no one looks in the book." (Not sure why they have a book then!) Anyway he had to shift an elderly couple to another table, and they looked super annoyed about it, and he was just moving several tables together when our 20 guests turned up. As it turns out, Zachary's isn't great for groups anyway - when we sat everyone down we discovered they don't have table service, and with half of our group sitting on the lounge side, they couldn't get up to go to the bar anyway. It took ages for everyone to get their drinks. We also had to very quickly decide that we would just order 10 different pizzas to save the stress of everyone lining up for their own order (it was 5:30pm and already a big queue at the bar). So what should have been a lovely casual evening introducing family and friends to each other turned out to be a very stressful and annoyed start to our wedding festivities. (Also, when it gets full at the restaurant, it is soooo noisy and no one could chat to each other easily anyway.) read more
