We slid off the road during a snow storm and needed to be pulled out of a ditch. We called AAA but found it was much faster to cal Zack directly. He had us out and back on the road within 30 minutes of our first call. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. read more

My husband and I broke down between Anchorage and Fairbanks when we were on a road trip a couple of weeks ago. We were (what genuinely felt like) the middle of nowhere. Of course, we didn't know where we were and I started getting scared not knowing what to do. We called another tow company first and they said they could send a truck our way but they wouldn't get to us for 2 hours. It was super chilly that day and even though I had some snow gear, 2 hours I felt was too long for me to try and stay warm. We told him we'd keep looking and give him a call back if we were interested. We then called Zack's towing and asked if they could help us and how long it would take to get to us? The person said he could get to us in 45 minutes, and we told him yes please (much better than a 2 hour wait)! Sure enough, Zach (the owner) himself was there in about 45 minutes, only took a few minutes to load up our car and he was very gracious and let us sit in the nice warm tow truck while he did so. He then drove us to Anchorage and was super nice the whole time. We were kind of embarrassed to say we had no idea what happened to our car and he was super understanding and was happy to help us out. We had a great experience with this company and were very thankful of them helping us out! read more

Last week, in the middle of a big snowstorm, we got stuck in Healy because of a flat tire, and to make matters worse, the rental car didn't come with a spare tire. It was freezing cold, the road condition was bad, and so was the visibility. So you might imagine how surprised and grateful we felt when we saw A.P. showed up in such a timely manner (from Nenana, 60-mile away), and took us all the way back to Fairbanks. Very worth-mentioning, it was an unforgettable ride with him. Not only because he was friendly, but also because he was so knowledgable about this area: he shared numerous local historical stories and pointed out scenic view points for us--just like an awesome tour guide. We had a great time riding with A.P., and he was the person to make our day from worst to best. Thank you so much A.P.! We can't say enough how much we appreciate everything you did for us!

Buyer beware!! Warning!! Buyer beware!! Alert!!…read more If you go here..., spray paint the parts you plan on having replaced before you get any work done! I was billed multiple times for work that was not completed, parts were not replaced or they were replaced with junk and I was charged. If you have front end work done. Make sure your steering wheel is aligned with straight tires as they do not! Trace back any wiring you may have had done as they do not remove burs from the metal or use protective materials for the wires to prevent corrosion or vibrations that can ultimately lead to a vehicle fire. There is no warranty with the substandard shade tree mechanics they have working for them. The down time from needing to repeatedly bring my equipment back for repairs was phenomenal. I had brand new led light bars stolen and numerous parts supposedly replaced or repaired. If you confront the owners they just give you the run around full of excuses. Then when they get sick of hearing you complain they threaten to call the police on you. This is the most unprofessional automotive place I've dealt with in 23 years as a local Fairbanks Alaskan resident. In short, save your money and go somewhere else. Hire the Girl Scouts. I'm sure they are more competent and competitive.

We recently returned from an extended trip through Canada and Alaska in a rental car. The day we were in Denali we noticed that we had a couple of very worn tires. We called the rental company who suggested we put the spare on the worst tire and bring the car into Anchorage rental repair facility before traveling any further. We called the AAA number who was very helpful. They called to say the first place they contacted could not get to us, so they called a different company to come change the tire for us. It turned out to be Zacks Towing. Kyle called to say he was on his way and checked in with us when he got closer. He was a very personable young man and knew what he was doing. Being a retired mechanic I am familiar of how to do it right, but not physically able to do it any longer. Without prompting Kyle did exactly what should be done in a professional manner. This is my second time interacting with this fantastic company. Both times were through AAA callouts. The communication was friendly and professional. They arrived as quickly as possible considering they were driving from 2 hours away. They set right to work and got the job done quickly and with no damage to my vehicles. On my way back to Anchorage my truck broke down on mile 271, I called Zack's Towing and spoke with Zack. He sent his driver Andrew out to help us. Andrew was very professional and courteous. He made a bad day so much better. Definitely, by far the best towing company I've ever dealt with. Thank you for your help and if I am ever broke down out that way again, you will be my first call. During my trip south from Fairbanks, my newly purchased 24 passenger van was leaking transmission fluid badly so I stopped about 10 miles north of Healy. Tow companies in Fairbanks, 100 miles north, were unresponsive, so I contacted Zack. He was friendly, knowledgeable and had a driver headed my way in 15 minutes. I got a flat tire, while driving towards Denali, which left me stranded. Not only did Zack come to my rescue to change it out for the spare, he also saved my trip by giving me the number of someone who could replace it. This allowed me to continue traveling North, as opposed to heading back to Wasilla. He went above and beyond to help me out! Thanks! read more

Our van went in the ditch in the middle of nowhere, about an hour south of Cantwell. Andrew with Zacks Towing was excellent at getting it out. Zack stopped by and checked on us to make sure we were ok and to let us know the tow truck was on the way! Great service in a bad situation! read more

Blew a tire on the Park Highway just south of Denali on a Sunday evening. Rental didn't have a spare. Zack had someone out within 45 minutes to tow me to Cantwell AND hooked me up with a tire shop that was able to fix it that night. Just fantastic service. Thanks Zack and team! read more

Got my rig stuck out on the Denali Highway. Gave him a call and was on the scene at the time he said he was going to be. Managed to pull the rig and the fifth wheel out with ease, was impressed with that. read more
