During a business trip to Ostrava, my colleagues and I went to Stodolni Street. I thought the…read morestreet was fun and vibrant, offering numerous places to eat and imbibe. After strolling down the street for awhile to assess where we wanted to begin, my colleagues chose Bernie's Traditional Irish Pub. I am always one for choosing more local places, but this place has a nice charm to it. We elected to sit outside and people-watch while we had a few drinks. As I had never been to the Czech Republic before, I wanted to try their beer. The waiter recommended Zubr Classic. Frankly, it was a shrugger and not anything special. I actually prefer the Pilsner Urquell beer from the Czech Republic that I had tried back in the States. Nonetheless, the wait staff was attentive and pleasant.
