The deal comes with a glass of drink each and sweets too and we Chardonnay each. We had 3 different varieties of entrées with two dipping sauces. They were very tasty and enjoyable. The mains were two different chicken curries and a lamb Rohan josh, a vegetable curry, a salad and a yoghurt dish similar to tzatziki. We also had a small bowl of rice and naan breads. Everything was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed everything served to us. We were asked few times whether we need any more but we couldn't have any more than what was served. My friend was not much experienced with Indian food and spices and was a little nervous at the start, but absolutely enjoyed everything from entrée to dessert. The curries tasted freshly cooked and nothing was overly spicy and hot. It was great to have the buffet meal as we were able to try few different curries. Excellent table service and the staff were so welcoming and looked after us so well. Definitely will go back there again.

The pappadams weren't crispy, the naan barely warm, the rice going hard sitting there on it's heat source. I'm not a fan of buffets usually so I should've known better. But I find a small curry and rice ($9.50) with a side of naan (2.50) to be a nicer size. The nature of Indian food lends itself well to fast food. Curry zone is not oily and is an exciting and satisfying alternative to the processed crap when you find yourself trapped in the mall near meal time. Take away curry available: $10 For 280 grams $17 For 500 grams $20 For 650 grams Don't fold the curry into the naan and then spill it all over your pants because that wouldn't be cool.

When we arrived, there weren't any other guests in the restaurant but I was surprised to see another six groups of people arrive during the time we were there. We ordered entrees and mains, as we were the only people in the restaurant when we ordered I expected the food service would be quick. But our food did take a while to come out, it seemed that there were a lot of take away orders that were keeping the kitchen busy as well. The food was nice but not as good as Beyond India at North Adelaide. The butter chicken and plain naan were highlights. We noticed a poster in the restaurant detailing a 'more than you can eat' buffet that is held at Beyond India Modbury on the first and last Sunday of every month. At $23.90 per adult, it's something that I would definitely like to try next time.

I would return to Beyond India Modbury if the food had more heat intensity and flavour.
