When I mentioned that this amount of pain is not normal, they told me that they cannot look at it/possibly replace it because it would be a waste of materials. I would non be surprised if I was here for more than 12 hours, and I anticipate leaving the hospital way sicker than I was when I arrived (and I arrived with a concussion...) I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Prof.Dr Peter Vajkoczy,medical director of neurosurgery, studied my previous MRT and then ordered a battery of tests - a new MRT, a CT and a device recording nerve responses to electrical impulses. Dr Vajkoczy's suspicion was confirmed. My pain was being caused by a pinched nerve in S1, a different segment than previously diagnosed. Prior to my minimally invasive operation I was given intensive care by a most capable staff. The operation itself was so successful that the excruciating pain had vanished as soon as I regained consciousness. Their phone rang unanswered for 15 minutes. I called back 30 minutes later. They transferred me to station 11 (surgery) who stated they did not have him and could not transfer me back. I called back. Transferred to station 21. They said they did not have him and transferred me to the operator again who said they did not know where he was. They lost my unconscious husband. I jumped in the car and called back station 21. The nurse said she was too busy to check his room. I just wanted to know if he was alive or dead. She stated that she was too busy and off the top of her head she could not tell me. He is alive. He is still there 4 days later with complications. He had a second procedure yesterday to remove additional stones they missed during the surgery. There are 2 nurses for the entire station 21 of post surgical patients. I can honestly say we will NEVER use this hospital again. Dirty needle on hallway floor. Too busy to help him change. Bed sheets have his blood for 2 days. Understaffed is an understatement.

Erstmal zur OP: Der Eingriff (Hernien-OP) verlief absolut unkompliziert und ohne nachträgliche Schmerzen, persönlicher Mail-Austausch im Vorfeld bei Rückfragen und Unsicherheiten inklusive, die vom Doc beantwortet wurden. Herr Dr. Malayeri ist als Arzt und Mensch nicht nur zuverlässig, sondern auch freundlich, ruhig und wertschätzend. Ich kann es nicht besser beschreiben als so. Aber auch die gesamte stationäre Atmosphäre ist durchgehend top-professionell und herzlich gewesen. Sämtliche Mitarbeitende, von der Empfangsteam bis zum Nachtdienst, waren zugewandt und verständnisvoll, das Zimmer praktisch und schön, das Essen ausgezeichnet!
