We tried the strawberry mango which was good. The next night we had fruit tango which was delicious! Very sweet. The nachos supreme was pretty good. I was not a fan of the type of cheese they used. The gauntlet has been thrown as TacoTaco has begun…read morehitting the streets of the city, drawing the taco fans out of the woodwork like a Mexican pied piper. $5 tacos, street corn and Jarritos. Simple. Delicious. Well, not TOO simple--the salsas and sauces that top their delicious meat fillings have been blowing my mind. I think my favourite so far has been the salmon topped with caramelised lime crema and peach salsa. SO FRESH, SO FULL OF CRAZY FLAVOUR. So yes, definitely delicious. It's still early days, but it looks like the TacoTaco hombres are going to be parking from Wednesdays through to Saturdays, from around 6/7pm until 10pm. Keep an eye on their facebook and/or twitter page for where they'll be each night. I'm so stoked that these guys have taken a chance on Hobartian support because so far the demand has been way high. Burgers and sandwiches make up most of the menu and tHere are several versions of sliders as well. We chose the eye of beef filet sliders, a side order of chips (thick cut fries) and a Cesar salad. The salad particularly tasted good after a long couple of days off traveling. Overall the food was decent but nothing all that special or memorable. One of us ordered their biggest burger (over $22) and when it came out, it didn't look good, they said the patties and other ingredients tasted burnt and the bread was old. For a place in Salamanca, this was a poor experience and we will not be returning, how they're in business I have no idea.
