(Back then it was Danzig) I have the day off today, so here comes the most delayed review I have ever posted in my history of Yelping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Radisson Blu! The hotel was a manageable size, and the staff working the front desk were warm and friendly. The location is top notch, with the main entrance just barely off the main drag in Gdansk. In fact the restaurant in the hotel has windows on the main street. Being Radisson Rewards Gold members, we were upgraded to a suite, and sweet it was! It had a separate sitting/tv area with leather couches and chairs, a large bathroom with a separate toilet area, and a separate bedroom with windows that opened for fresh air. I travel often for work and something as simple as windows that actually open is a big thing for me! The breakfast was delicious with many options from which to choose. The hostess was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. They had a small bar to the side of the lobby, and more than once we had to search for someone to serve us a "zimne piwo". But that wasn't such a big deal. To sum it all up, we loved this place and will hopefully return on our next trip to Poland.

This trip was for business and limited time thus preferred to book an hotel nearby the meeting point in Gdynia. If I had more time I would have stayed in Gdansk old city. I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia as it was recommended by the company I was visiting for business purposes. That was a nice suggestion as the hotel is perfectly located by the marina as well as conveniently located to reach all locations in the city. The Hotel is rather new, modern interior inspired by Scandinavian design. Very good helpful reception as well as all staff, they are nice and very service minded always ready to help you if you need to. The hotel rooms are super clean, spacious, comfortable beds and well equipped of all useful amenities and services. Free internet added an extra star to this review. The reception hall invites you to the bar and dining area where breakfast and other meals are served during the day. The bar is well equipped and they can offer what you need depending of the mood.... The breakfast was good and they had no problem to arrange gluten free bread for me. Did not have time to go to the fitness center maybe next time. I will definitely book this hotel again next time I will travel to Gdynia.

I had such high hopes for this SPA when vacationing nearby. Unfortunately, I was sadly…read moredisappointed in many aspects. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time, the manager brought me down to the spa area and offered a cold beverage while I wait, which was nice. The not nice part was waiting nearly 30 minutes. Finally the pedicurist arrived and seemed pleasant. She brought me to the room which despite trying for a spa atmosphere felt sterile and not very welcoming. Here's where it goes down hill. I asked how long the hotel/spa has been open (she said 2 yrs), and she's worked there 2 months. It seemed as though she had no idea how to do a pedicure or pricing, or what was included in each spa package. You work here and you don't know what is included? Either odd, or planned to rip you off from the start. She stated a 20 minute foot soak is best. I've had many pedi's, never 20 min soak, but ok (time eating into the max allotted time!) I asked her to clip my toe nails, she said she can not, because they don't use clippers for safety reasons. She can only use nail file. How about smoothing out nail bed, SAME ROUGH FILE! How about pushing back cuticles? SAME ROUGH FILE? Cuticle oil? None. Trim cuticles? No, not allowed. So what is allowed? A cheap rushed pedicure, and she charged me 185zl (which if you see based on their pricing structure online, does not match with any service). I was so frustrated with the crappy quality, I just wanted to get out of there. FYI - comparable pedicure in this area is 60zl, so I paid 3x as much for "SPA", but got intern style nails. I get home, to find that my nails look like a 5 year old had painted them. Nail polish on my cuticles, on the sides of my toes. UNACCEPTABLE from any pedicurist, triple unacceptable from a spa. Also, in "hybrid" nail polish they only have like 5-6 colors to choose from, all crazy colors, some neon. STAY AWAY from this place, untrained individuals are here!!
