It was a table of 4 and easily accommodated, it was Thursday and we had a booking. Service was efficient and prompt - not much waiting. We bought our own wine, and no issue with glasses or corkage. Entree and mains were shared and quickly disappeared ( so not many photos) - the vegetarian dishes were divine, it was all excellent. You come here for the food and it is worth it.

Some of the options are is predictably similar to other Middle-Eastern cuisine, with dishes like the mixed char grilled kebab plate (served with rice and salad) and several meat and vegetable stews not dissimilar to tagines. The standout was an eggplant dish called 'Burani Banjan'. The sauce is incredibly rich and tasty. I'm at a loss as to where the flavour came from as the menu just says eggplant cooked with tomato, onion and garlic and served with yoghurt. They must be leaving out a few of the secret herbs and spices, Col. Sanders style. Service was a little slow but the prices are very affordable. The total bill for my party of three was $77. Also, it's BYO and they didn't charge us any corkage.

Be my guest if you'd like to pay an exuberant amount of money on that rubbish. Now to Bashori, this restaurant is without a doubt the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to, and I have sampled numerous restaurants. The service is impeccable, the owners pride themselves in their food and service and it shows each and every time you dine or take-away. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. It's a quaint restaurant that has BYO if you dine in or if you'd like you can take-away. They open for dinner 7 days a week from 5pm. They have a nice cosy Indian feel to the interior of the restaurant or you can sit outside. All mains are under $20 and papadums are complimentary. You will not be disappointed ! :-)

I had decided to give this restaurant a try on account that it was local and hoping it could replace my 15 minute drive to Ceylon Inn down at Sherwood. Despite it being local, I was also drawn to the fact that it is much cheaper than Ceylon Inn. I wasn't impressed by the restaurant fit out. It was very basic and had no charm whatsoever. There is a TV inside playing Bollywood, which I am assuming is there to distract you from the dull surrounding and long wait times. The fact that is was very uninteresting inside, made waiting for our order so much longer. What took about 40 minutes to come out, which is extremely long anyway, had ended up feeling like an eternity. We ordered Rogan Josh, Tandoori Chicken and Bashori Lamb. As it took a while to be cooked, I expected a well cooked authentic Indian meal. What I got was bearable, at best. The ingredients used seemed cheap and low quality and the flavour bordered on mushy goo hidden in spice. Ick. I'd like to give this restaurant another try, because I'm hoping they've improved. I don't care too much for restaurant ambience, so long as the food is good it is all I'll remember of the experience. Unfortunately in this case, my first experience with them was not great, I noticed poor ambience and an average service. Here's hoping next time is at least 3 out 5.

Nothing really stood out for me and it's very quiet and relaxing spot though was a bit hard to find as its tucked away in a corner located among shops and offices set back from the road. Not sure if I'd go back though it was pleasant enough.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we ordered one of the BBQ platters with pork ribs, chicken Maryland, coleslaw and chips to take away. The food was good, although we weren't as blown away by it as we had hoped after reading previous reviews. With the all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta bars, salad bar, and desert bar! At night, the Pizza Hut sign is not lit up, so it's easy to miss in the dark. But it's there! Just drive in to the KFC/Red Rooster complex and the Pizza Hut is right in the middle. And it's packed! People in the know fill the establishment for nostalgic reasons. The only downside is, the staff aren't very helpful. Nobody really explains anything to you. Unlike Sizzler, whose staff always ask, "Have you been to Sizzler before, and do you know how it works?", Pizza Hut Browns Plains staff leave you to your own devices. Don't bother waiting to be seated, as they just give you a strange look. Just grab any table you like and serve yourself. Also, it would seem that you can no longer order a set meal up front. It's simply all you can eat. You just rock up, help yourself, and then you go to the counter at the end and pay for "all you can eat". Ordering drinks is tricky, though. They don't have "all you can drink" self serve soft drink dispenser (like Sizzler do). So you do have to try to get the attention of someone in the kitchen to ask for a jug of Pepsi, or a beer (it's licensed). And, after waiting 10 minutes for the drink/s to arrive at your table, you might have to get up and remind them a second time. Recommended purely for the nostalgia of eating in a dine-in Pizza Hut restaurant, but only for a special treat once in a while. Not somewhere you'd want to go every week.

The enthusiastic and cheerful waitress was straight over to tell us about the daily specials and take our orders. We decided to start with Mussels Provincal. Then for mains we ordered the Red Emperor with baked potatoes, brocollini, green beans and vine ripened tomatoes and The Lobster mornay with similar sides. WOW! The Mornay was a challenge to finish as there was so much and the Red Emporer was reported to be quite impressive also. Once again we requested to substitute the potatoes for more salad, the request was acknowledged and then the dish was served with potatoes regardless. I am not sure whether there is communications breakdown between the waiters/waitresses in Brisbane and their kitchen staff but this is the second venue this has happened. It would be nice to see a request followed up and not ignored. Aside from that, a nice warm atmosphere and good service made this a pleasant dining experience even though the weather outside was anything but.
