Unfortunately, the one I liked they didn't have the right size in stock so the clerk took note and if one of their stores has one she'll contact me with no obligation to buy it. It can be very frustrating at times, with the Covid restrictions and and supply issues. But all that may be past now? My doggies drag me there all the time when we go for walks! Just walk right in the open front door and get their treats or food. I get frustrated with their lack of consistent inventory, inconsistent staffing and difficult to maneuver aisles. The big one on the Kinkerstraat is definitely nicer. I was surprised they kept this open, but it is a goldmine in real estate. The local (family owned) pet store further down Bilderdijk is much better for me. They know me by name, always have what I want and is a better prices indeed.

I get my dog treats from these guys but have purchased quite a few accessories as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a very laid back place. I'm ambivalent about the location as the store closest to me, now recently closed, was literally just down the street a few hundred meters or so. This location is about a kilometer or more away. It's a nice walk with the dog. It's funny but this is another one of those places that you go to for supplies that you don't really think about til it's gone and then you have to find another place to get your supplies. Regardless, I'm thankful there is this location and I can still get my dog her treats.

Everyone with a cat knows that when you leave town and they stay behind they become the king/queen of the castle. Without a homecoming bribe to be allowed back in is not a good thing. This kitty was getting some catnip for sure and a few little toys that make noise. Shopping in Amsterdam as a tourist can be tricky. We checked to make sure catnip was allowed to come through security and customs. Didnt wabt the govenment to think it was something else. Payment is also tricky as some places are Euro only payment. We did our shopping and continued on our mery way knowing that the kitty was taken care of from Amsterdam.
