Not horrible but not a great first impression. She proceeded to give what seemed to be an hour long presentation of how wonderful Premarin is. Giving quick diagrams and handouts. I sat and listened. After an hour I had a few questions. One of them was why no other form of HRT was considered other Premarin in her practice. Her demeanor quickly changed and I was told that she just spent an hour with me and that if I needed more consultation I would need to schedule another appointment. I was blindsided by her response. She quickly rushed me out but not empty handed. She gave me a pretty good supply of Premarin samples. I noted that while waiting her front desk staff was complaining and making fun of a previous patient. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with my experience and did not feel heard or considered. Bottom line from my point of view, she's an old school doctor that's a bit outdated on her approach and medicine. Not a problem for everyone but I prefer for my healthcare to include my opinion and questions to be heard and considered. It's a hard pass for me.

Staff was apologetic and helpful (as much as possible) but wait time is unacceptable. Husband took off work to go to this appointment and he works 1.5 hours away so you can imagine how inconvenient this was. ALSO, this was not original appointment nor doctor. When I called office a couple of week before about another question, found out that husband's appointment was not only moved out a week but was scheduled with a different doctor. No one notified us; had it not been for my calling to ask a question on the intake form, we would not have known he had been rescheduled. Just noticed that Doctor concentrates on women's health (obgyn?) which can possibly be cause of delay. However, if known there would be a delay at this time in the morning, someone should have notified us and rescheduled appointment. BTW, was told that this doctor is notorious for running late. It was the first time my daughter seeing an OBGYN, she did NOT take the time to ask the right questions based on what was going on. Without all the knowledge or concern, she immediately tried to solve the problem with a prescription which would not have worked. Another doctor ordered the right tests, did an ultrasound and immediately figured it very quickly and really took the time to address the situation. As a patient of this medical group for over 30 years, I was floored by this experience and now have an unnecessary bill of over $500. When calling to address the issue, they disagreed and didn't care. So if you don't have a standard issue I would highly recommend avoiding this doctor. I'm hoping this review will help avoid this situation for someone else.

However, her tone of voice and how she asked the questions were uncalled for. NOBODY, not even a doctor, has the right to talk down to anybody, which includes GASLIGHTING, a patient, like this! We have every right to walk out of any room. We need to normalize calling individuals out for their toxic and unwelcome behavior. That's exactly what took place here. Wow what a refreshing turn of events when I was referred to Dr. B! I thought I needed a very…read moreroutine hysterectomy. It turns out it was not so routine and thank God she was my Doc... she came in even when not on call to help solve emergency bleeding. In the end she went way beyond the call of duty to care for me! Others might have just let the on call handle things. In the end it was several trips to the ER because my body had issues... each time she was a trouper and stayed positive searching for the solution! And in the end she figured out the very unique problem and bammmm I'm better than ever! She has been a life changer for me!!! Great doc! Really fierce patient advocate!
