Well, half of my bathing suit did come off, so pay heed and make sure to sport a full piece if you plan on taking the plunge. There is also a one-meter board as well as a three-meter. The Centennial is the only pool in the city with a ten-meter jump, so it's worth the trip just for this experience. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly. Head on in for a swim or for the thrill of falling 10 meters into the water.

Like other pools they have set swim times for lane lovers, families, and adults. In terms of price Centennial is a great outing for the family, although the pool lacks pool bling like water slides and swinging ropes. If it's one of those super hot summer days in the city the pool is a great place to cool off. The keep the water a little colder than most pools as it's home to quite a few swim teams.

Encased in a great deck you are able to enjoy the sun and then jump right in . A smaller pool is attached for the really little ones that can cool off after playing in the sand. The main pool is heated and will be broken into adult as well as open swims. Two other pools are available but one is mostly reserved for older members. Don't forget the 6 or 8 Tennis courts where you can take lessons or if that is not up your alley there is must more. Sailing, Volleyball as well as Wagg days where the kids are able to enjoy. Now the Wagg would not be what it is if it was not for the great Canteen that they provide to the guest. Fries and Sweet Potato fires with curry dip is a hot thing. There are other things on the menu as well as a little store in the main house for candy and treats. All this does not come cheap between $600-$800 you will be able to have some relaxing fun.

The sheet itself is kept in good condition. I appreciate that there is a spectator area on both the ground floor and second floor for those who want to watch. The upstairs area also has a bar and kitchen (not always open). Prices at the bar are reasonable. There is also a dance floor for private events with a fairly good sound system.

Seeing the outcome of the renovations they were definitely worth it. The Club now has an upstairs level (which it never had before), which contains the Circuit and other pieces of exercise equipment. By adding this new section up top, there's a bit less equipment down below, making it less crowded and easier to enjoy your workout.

Now I'll be upfront with you. I don't love The Exercise. I find it boring and typically don't like having to use my muscles for any reason, let alone sweating in public. So naturally I would have assumed that adding a harness and unflattering footwear into the mix would kill the experience before it even began, but no. NO! I looooove Ground Zero and, as it turns out, I looooove rock climbing (indoors). It's also stupid cheap ($12 for a full-day pass), so you don't have to break the bank to find out if you even like it. The owner has usually been the one on-site whenever I've visited and he totally fits the part. You can tell he must be pretty hardcore when he's not 'in the office' but he's able to make that enthusiasm work even when he has to deal with n00bs like me. He'll get you set up, teach you everything you need to know, make sure you're not going to plummet to your death because of your own stupidity, and then he leaves you to do your own thing. The big walls are a blast, the slanted ones make me question if my arms originally belonged to a six-year-old girl, and the bouldering sections are a great challenge if you can't cope with the heights. Important: choose who you come with wisely. They will be the ones holding your ropes. And staring starting at the awkward crotch-bunch that happens once you're harnessed up. So...there's that.

For example, last winter, I learned to ski. This summer, my goal was to learn how to rock climb. For my birthday, my boyfriend surprised me by taking me to Ground Zero, an indoor rock climbing gym. I was excited, but sceptical that I could do it, being an avid couch potato and all. Ground Zero had a really cool atmosphere, that's the best word to describe it. They had a lounge area with a lot of great reading material on climbing, you could even enjoy a coffee while you sit and read. Other than the lounge and the main desk the place is virtually empty, save for some crash mats. After we got suited up in our gear, which was minimal and easy to put on, we were given a crash course in climbing. The rundown was thorough, but short, so we could get to climbing as soon as possible. Naturally, I made my boyfriend go first. When it came to my turn, I was nervous, but hey, the walls don't look that high. Until you get about half way up, then you feel like you're halfway to the moon. I'd be lying if I said I didn't poop my pants a little. If you're not in the best shape ever, like me, climbing can be tough. It's sweaty and exhausting work. You hit your breaking point, where you think, I can't physically go any further. Or I can't reach, I can't do it. But you have the staff there and a partner to shout their support to you. When you take a chance, push yourself, reach out, grab that final hold and pull yourself up, it's like seeing the face of God. It's so exhilarating, you feel so proud that you were able to push yourself and make it. It's one of the most amazing feelings I've ever known, I felt like I could so anything. Whether you love rock climbing or you've never been, I recommend Ground Zero. It's a great workout, it's exciting, fun and there is a very helpful and supportive staff behind you the whole way.

She gave me great pointers and some helpful hints to help me along my way. Great equipment and about 10 pieces of each so that you are not waiting around to be able to use it. As well there are great classess happening each day at all different times to fit your schedule. One thing that I wanted to say that completed frustrated me to the point which I really do not feel like go back to this location is one of the trainers was putting on a class which I signed up for really had no idea what she was doing. I showed up and she said that special class was cancelled. Oh I did not get a call. So she then continues to say well let me see what I can do for next week and I will call you. Well that did not happen she did not call me and I have not been back to this location since.

Trampolines are worn and very dirty. Extremely hot inside. No ventilation or fans running. No music. Horrible atmosphere. No one is wearing masks. No one is washing their hands ever. Bathrooms are disgusting dirty. Urine and deuces all over. My children could not use the washrooms due to how dirty. No one was cleaning the entire time at the park. Do yourself a favour, avoid going here. They do not care about your safety and it shows. *Update: Not impressed with the lack of response from Get Air. Very unhappy family. Was looking into taking myself and children for covid testing due to the lack of proper covid prevention measures at the park.

I've had an opportunity to work closely with a personal trainer by the name of Lisa Tilley and wouldn't trade her for the world! Lisa is motivating, educated, patient and understanding. She helps me with my work out and also gives me great advice for my diet. When I first met with Lisa, she asked me a number of questions to ensure she understood my fitness needs and goals. She truly did listen to what I struggled with and has since motivated me enough to stick with an exercise program! Nubody's is a little more expensive than a few other gyms, but it's well worth the money. I pay biweekly which helps me with my budgeting and I get to pay through payroll deductions. I actually receive a corporate discount. Being a member of an all-womens gym seems to be less intimidating and I really enjoy it!

On the plus side, the gym is modernly designed and is very clean, and is a nice looking place to work out in. On the downside, in comparison to some of the other gyms, this gym is overly crowded with equipment and people, and could greatly benefit from an expansion. The gym tends to get uncomfortably warm during busy times especially the upstairs yoga studio. Also, the gym does not offer all of the same equipment as some other Nubody's - for example their is no stand up calf-machine and only one set of 20 lbs hand-weights. Overall, a nice club, but for practicality reasons I would choose to do my workout at another Nubody's.
