On August 8, 2022 I stopped by the Albemarle Road location and ordered a four finger plate. At the time of my order I requested ranch sauce. Upon approaching the drive-through window I was not greeted, as it should be a normal practice for any business. Upon placing my order I realize that the restaurant had a 90% Health Department Rating. Upon receiving my order I did not receive thank you for your business. Additionally they did not include the ranch sauce. I would strongly encourage Zaxby's management to require everyone to go through Chick-fil-A customer service training. Came here twice. The first time was drive through. I had no issues. The second time around I got a groupon. This was a bad idea. I came into the place. I was not greeted. The order too way to long to make and it took 15 minutes to place the order. The staff were so unprofessional. They spoke to each other and instead of taking my order and while in the middle of taking my order the young person, cashier, decided to put on lip gloss in the middle of my order. This location is cool I've never had an issue with the food or the service. I've seen Zaxby's before but I never visited before this location opened up. I think they do a good job but the other day when I went to visit the lady ringing me up told me this location doesn't accept coupons anymore and when she said it she had a little attitude. So when I asked her to clarify because I didn't know if she just meant the coupon I had or all coupons from that point on and she said all coupons. My order was missing one of the two side dishes, so I drove through again to get it. The young girl did apologize, but she didn't look all that surprised. Okay, Ive been to this zaxbys twice in the past week and both times I've had a bad experience. First, last Friday (today is Monday) i went there after work and i got a House Zalad and a cup of water. I got to the window looked at my receipt and they charged me for a small coke, but still gave me a water. I tried to ask them to change it but before i could speak they slammed the drive thru window in my face. I just decided to let it be. Today I went back, i wanted to give them a second chance. This time it was worse than the last. I ordered the same thing. Not only did they give me a Cobb salad (I only know this because there were eggs and bacon on my salad and the house doesn't come with that) Im also allergic to eggs, but luckily it was one hard boiled egg and i could just take it off. I specifically said a "free cup of water" this time, but they still charged me for the drink. The lady at the window both times was rude, and they both slammed it in mu face. Today was teacher appreciation day at Zaxby's! I was excited about getting my buy-one-get-one Big Zax Snack deal (one for lunch tomorrow). Then they denied the coupon saying that they don't accept coupons. The only problem is that this coupon was specifically for this store address and specifically for this date. So, I went on home - hungry and feeling less than appreciated. I called the manager of the store when I got home to verify that what they told me at the drive through was true (not believing it since the coupon was sent with the exact address on it). Jasper, the manager, said that the regional manager hadn't loaded the coupon in their machines yet, so I would need to come back tomorrow to get this special. I'm going to take up for this place. I have always had a good experience here. The staff has always been very prompt. The food has always been good. If you have a coupon - it doesn't throw them off. Their salads have gone down in quality since I started coming. Not worth it. They sometimes can scrimp on the fries. But never on the chicken, which is why you come in the first place. The $5.99 sandwiches with a drink are a good deal. Maybe they had some growing pains when it first opening. But I think they are doing a good job now. read more

This Zaxby's always has poor service, we still go there knowing because we enjoy the food & can get over poor service since they're normally busy. Tonight 15 minutes before the closing time of 11:00pm we were told they were closed (even though maps hours says 11pm). We asked "oh you don't close at 11?" And the lady retorted with "we're out of food". I just think that's a strange follow up excuse, even though she previously said they were closed. I went to this Zaxbys to get lunch on Saturday. I had a reward for a free sandwich, if you purchased fries and drink. I got the sandwich for my son, and ordered the fries and drink separate and I got a snack pack and a large sweet tea. I told the cashier I ordered sandwich separate so I could use my reward. She had me scan my phone to get the free sandwich and I told her I wanted to pay for the rest with my preloaded amount on my Zaxbys account. She told me that I could only get one reward at a time. I tried to explain to her that I was only getting one reward, but I was paying with the $25 that was preloaded. She again told me I couldnt get but one reward at a time. After arguing with her for 15 minutes about how I wasnt getting a reward by paying with $ that came out of my checking account and went to my Zaxbys account, I just gave her my debit card and paid for the food.
