My husband and I stopped here on our way back from the beach and waited at least 20 minutes for our order after they forgot about us. Order wasn't correct. My husband went up several times asking about our order after we watched customer after customer receiving their meals. The staff seemed sweet but we are very disappointed as this stop delayed our trip as we were wanting fast food- if we wanted to have a 40+ minute stop we would have gone to a sit-down restaurant. I have eaten at Zaxby's numerous times over the years but never at the Mullins location. Typically, Zaxby's has one of the best chicken sandwiches anywhere but that's definitely not true of the Mullins restaurant. My wife ordered the Signature Sandwich with lettuce and tomato. What she got was a burnt bun, a tiny piece of chicken and almost no lettuce. Not only did it take forever to get our order in the drive through, the burnt bun was soggy when she unwrapped. On 03/08/2026, our ministry center ordered 10 Grilled Chicken Sandwich Boxed Lunch and 15 Fingerz Boxed Lunch from this Zaxby's. The staff was very polite and professional when I picked up the lunch meals. The customer service was good, and they staff was very accommodating. The food was fresh and exactly as we ordered online. Food was good, however, the service sucked!! After we got our food my husband went to the bathroom and I sat at the table with our two tired, hungry, whiny kids. My husband was coming back to the table when the girl who took our food said his name with food in her hand. he kept walking because we thought we had gotten everything, she said his name again, this time staring at him and holding the food out and gave it to him and said "here's the rest of your food" so he took it assuming they forgot to give us our fries or bread (which was what was in the box she gave us) my husband then got up to get straws and fill our cups and another female worker with black and orangish dreads started to walk up to our table with an attitude until the girl who took our order said "just let them have it" and she turned around and started walking back towards the counter. The rest of the time we were eating every worker in that store continued to stares at us and our kids as we ate, but no one said a word. Not one worker had a good attitude and it was sad actually how rude they all were. My husband pointed out that as we were leaving, as a few customers were walking in and they started to get busy, that the girl with dreads said loudly "you better make HER pay for that before she leaves, talking about me, clearly as we were the only customers in the restaurant with food or had ordered at the time. I don't know what this woman's problem was with me, or why she would think I, I guess "stole food" when HER COWORKER said my husband name and said "here's the rest of your food" but she needs an attitude adjustment and Try asking around about a situation before judging people on things she Clearly has no idea about. Only reason I go here is because of the salads. Every time I go here my order is wrong and everyone has an attitude. One day I went and ordered and it was late instead of all the choices they were only offering 2 options to order which yes kind of pissed me off and maybe I gave the girl the feeling I was pissed but she had the nerve to ask a coworker in front of me what she would do if a customer gave her attitude...she then proceeded to say well if it happened to me I would....as she swung her arm like she would punch them. I totally flipped out and manager apologized said she would take care of it. I ordered online and when I went there, they claimed the order would take a few more minutes to be ready. I checked about 10 minutes later and they claimed they couldn't give me my food since the online system was down and there was nothing they could do. The workers preceded to mock me, laugh in my face, and call me slurs under their breath. I preceded to walk out across the sticky and filthy floor, as the incompetent cashier shouted taunts after me. SLOW! Only the drive thru is open, and it took us over an hour to get our food. We gave it the benefit of the doubt, and was hoping it was just one or two big orders holding up the line, yet the pace never picked up. There were plenty of workers inside, and few were actually doing anything. Will avoid this Zaxby's on all drives home from the beach in the future. read more

Let me say that over the last 6 months this place just keeps getting worse. The chicken has been terrible the last few times I ate here. But I like to give second, third, fourth chances. I may be done this time. I stopped in for dinner and ordered at 7:08 pm. I didn't receive my food until 7:23. So 15 minutes to cook my chicken. You would think it would be awesome and fresh right? No, terrible, tough. The fries were ok. Coleslaw was ok. The crew working here is terrible. They really need to send in secret shoppers at this restaurant. They seemed more interested in playing than working. I did not see a manager. If a manager was there...shame on them. $9.33 for a chicken platter you think it would be out of this world. Anytime we visit my fiance's family, we try to find excuses to eat here as much as possible. We live in Texas and the closest Zaxby's is in Georgia. Their zalads are awesome and delicious and huge! The chicken strip plate is tasty. Get some Zax sauce. And a banana pudding milkshake. You won't be disappointed. read more

Somebody posted a review that recently they called and called but never got an answer and they were so mad about it... The reason nobody answered is because they had a fire in the kitchen and have been closed about a month for remodeling. LOL hopefully they will be reopening soon, I am craving some Zaxby's! I have been trying to call this zaxbys since 12:30 and it is now 2;10 and i can get nobody on the phone and i have let it ring and ring. that makes me so mad. I just want to walk in there and give the manager a piece of my mind. that is no way to run a business. they won't have to worry about me ever coming or calling again. read more
